Yes u can connect bluetooth soundbar. Depending on device there could be a slight delay though. 2pro is brighter and better inbuild speakers.

Just curious what screen is recommended? Does this Xiaomi device lack Google Services like many of their products? I've read that these projectors have issue with auto focus are the unit heats up. Has that been fixed?.

Any regular screen/wall will do. Google services work out of the box. No issues with heat or autofocus.

Yes, removing the rubber pads below reveals the mounting holes and yes you can mount it upside down.

The EU- version has official playstore. Afaik the chinese version doesnt. You'll have to install different marketplace or sideload apps

The power consumption is missing, with max. brightness and standard game mode. The delay is about 120-250ms -> Xgimi halo + has less than 30ms. All in all: superb test. You didn't notice some strange moiré-pixel-muster in dark black areas with high brightening scenes?

I have had the mii youth projector for a few months and i noticed it tends to lose focus after using it for about 30 mins. I wonder if this projector suffers from the same issue.

The 2pro doesnt lose focus. Stick to manual focus on the youth edition

Yes you can flip the image. Its also the best option to flip it when hanged on ceiling because of the projection angle.

Probably not the most intelligent question, but i try anyway. I just received this projector today, and i am happy with it, but: I want to connect it to my av-receiver, is hdmi an option? So i can hear the sound via the speakers of my av-receiver. And, i want to connect my apple tv 4k as well, so to be able to project my apple tv via the projector, and again, the sound via the av-receiver. Can that be done, and if yes, how? Alvast bedankt

HDMI ARC (audio return channel) verbinden met je receiver en dan in de opties nog arc aanvinken (dacht ik). En de andere hdmi zou dan theoretisch beschikbaar moeten blijven als video input voor je apple tv.

Without moving, you can digitally zoom out by adjusting 4corner keystone in the global edition. The chinese edition has a separate zoom out function. The lens is fixed so you can only digitally zoom out (make image smaller) and not zoom in (make image bigger)

Dont have one to compare. On paper the horizon (pro) is better. 4k & higher lumens. Cant say if it justifies the 300+ extra price tag.

Yes you can adjust separate settings in user mode.

@@michalvondruska9643 i used the standard settings mostly in video. Dont use custom settings much. It differs when using different fabric screens too. Its different compared to bw vs5(shine through) vs wall vs my pull up screen.

Yes in user mode you can adjust brightness/contrast/saturation/sharpness and hue. Also 3 modes of color temperature (standard/warm/cold). I really dont see any problems with colors. But this is always subjective ofcourse. For the price its a great package.

@@pietdegeling4696 150 is denk ik wel echt t max voor het beste beeld, ondanks dat 200 wordt aangegeven. Hoe groter, dus hoe verder en hoe minder lichtopbrengst/kwaliteit. Ik heb zelf een scherm van visunext.nl (niet in de video, ook 100inch) die ik vaak gebruik. Weet ff het merk niet meer. Celexon heeft redelijk goed geprijsde schermen. Marktplaats is evt ook een optie.

Hi Can, great review! I plan to get the beamer and a projection screen that you have to hang from the ceiling. Does the beamer need a certain height to project onto the screen? Or can you adjust that manually with the keystone function? I have a screen that is 180cm wide and 101cm high (about 82"). What is the minimum distance that the beamer needs? I see that the beamer has an optical output. So can you connect the beamer to the soundbar with an optical cable for sound?

Height is definitely no problem. The projected image is "tilted" upwards in normal position. When using upside down on ceiling, u could mount it directly on ceiling and still have full image on walls (no cropping on base of image). Depending on screen height, u can lower the projector or tilt it and use keystone. Spdif is indeed optical, but 2channel(stereo only). Image is 1:1, wich means for 82inch display u would have to place the projector 82inches away from screen. U could place it further, but you'll need to zoom out with keystone correction.

i had the same setup but my rollup screen was faulty and i use a portable one now. It really depends on how far the screen rolls down and the height of your table. My roll up screen had a black patch above the screen and i also added some chains to lower it a bit furthermore. The projected screen starts around 10cm above the projector itself. You'll probably need to tilt or heighten the projector a bit if your screen hangs a bit high

@@iTzDaniel92 yes, only within its maximum projection range. So you can in a way digitally shift the image when zoomed out within limits with keystone. But the best image quality is direct projection with minimal keystone or zoom out. Luckily the image quality is great so there is a bit room to experiment with indirect setups. But again, direct projection is the best way! Imo its better with a portable screen as this gives more flexibility with setup as you already use the projector mobile.

Hi friend, I have a question I bought this projector a month ago and noticed some "problems" It's the first projector that i have so idk if this Is normal. When i approach to the projector i can hear something like an eléctric sound, i mean this eléctrical sound is not produced by the fans . Another "problem" that i noticed Is that in some scenes where there's a predominant colour like Green nature i can notice some color dots, I can see this dots from a distancie of 250cm. And if I get closer to the screen I can notice this colour dots in almost all the projection screen (im wondering if this Is because of the dlp technology )
