I played brawl stars on 120hz and then an miui update came and when I started the game again the frame rate drop to 30hz, and I tried everything to fix it but it didn't work. For those who can't find 'battery and performance' when you go to manage apps click on the 3 dots on top right corner and hit 'show all apps' then search for it. This will work. Also you need to go to 'battery' in settings and set it to performance to keep it at 120fps. When you don't want 120fps anymore just turn off performance and it will go back to normal.

@@nicholasrai2571 KZbin does not run on 120fps and that is the only app I'm aware of that doesn't force 120fps. Also why would you want to run 120fps on watching videos when you can just set to 1080p?

I´m guessing the battery and performance app controls the dynamic refresh, if you just force stop instead of deleting app data it does the same thing

Actually, It's not the MIUI that limits the apps at 60hz, but some apps itself doesn't support FPS beyond 60 and then the screen deactivates and return to 60hz for battery saving, because It Will not make any difference, since you're still seeing 60fps even on a 120hz screen. Forcing It is useless and will only drain more battery.
