Been using this one for the last three months. Very snappy, amazing screen, main camera is very good, and I've found battery life to be pretty good in most scenarios. I can't say is a 10/10 on anything but a solid 8 in everything.

Its been like that for years man, had to ditch my samsung a52 because of it, terrible reception where i live, meanwhile my brother's Huawei nova 5t has great signal strength lol, never should have switched it for the samsung, and after the whole shenanigans of a few years ago theyre hard to find here and the new ones come with snapdragon or mediatek processors, so presumably the same reception ability as any other phone out there

Xiaomi mid range phones look really nice. The problem for me is that their screens are so big. 6.67 inch is an overkill for me. A 6 inch screen is more than enough for an everyday use phone :)

Thanks for the review, Will. I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite right now and it's been the best phone I've ever had, in the sense of value for specs. The only problem is I intentionally bought a 4G phone because my 5G OnePlus 9 overheated too easily. I was hoping the Xiaomi 13 Lite would replace it -- but it's almost as if fans of my phone were nudged intentionally nudged towards this Redmi instead. That Xiaomi wanted to go in a different direction with the 13 Lite and from you and others have said -- they dropped the ball on that 13. I fear it's going to be flop city. The irony is that I had given up on OnePlus (the OP9 was pure junk) but the looming Nord 3 looks like the perfect phone for me. It's loaded with 5G and it appears the phone isn't overheating like the 9. This diatribe has no point except to complain about Xiaomi dropping the ball this time.

As a big fan of OnePlus I would recommend don't buy more one plus.... I think is was one of the best android company that is destroyed his future with his awful software... I remember to have a Redmi 4x that was working for 4 years in a really nice conditions and was 120£ new.... But if you spend 1200£ for one of the best I give you 2 years of good performance

Did they fix the audio when recording video? On the Note 11 Pro the video had noise reduction on with no way to switch it off. So video audio sounded compressed and like its under water.

Except for the battery..My redmi note 12 pro 5g is good. That is why compensated by a 64 watts charging. In a snap,your phone is already juiced up. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase. Midrange but I have all what I need. Good camera,responsive and lots of storage. I am also a player thus the game turbo mode is a YES!

Op10t, it's a no-brainer. Besides Xiaomi scams it's customer in the long run, I've been using redmi devices for 6-7 years now and I don't recommend redmi phones for any purpose except budget. Go for op10t but if camera is your concern, you can consider Google pixel.

In mid range and budget segment yes but in the flagship segment we have insane progress in flip and foldables also in terms of performance the newer ones are better than the last ones but yeah if you look at any other phones which aren't flagship, the trend is disappointing. hell they don't even give 4k videos recording on budget phones now which they surprisingly did a few years back.

I've got miui 14 with android 13 on my redmi note 10 Pro global version and as of the new sweet of features I got new control centre like on the Chinese version I can swipe across my lock screen and access the torch or xiaomi remote the text is a bit clearer more expandable ram that's about it unless you have the Chinese version I don't think you will get all the features

The only thing to consider is the X3 recent breakdowns with the motherboard and screen. Hope history doesn't repeat itself in that case.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro has great specs similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus like the display, battery, ingress protection and stereo speakers. Except the camera, a 200 MP with OIS vs 50 MP Sony IMX766 with OIS, same 8MP UW cam and 2 MP macro cam, the battery life is better on the Redmi Note 12 Pro, they have the same chipset (Dimensity 1080), performance is similar And lastly the price is cheaper on the Redmi Note 12 Pro.

I bought it new. I'm wondering why there's no update to miui 14 and android 13. My friend's note 11 pro has it. Also, the charger seems weird. When charging it just say fast charging and not the 67w charging. Sometimes there an error saying my charger might be old so it's charging slowly.

@@nagisa51 Nope. at first it was smooth but a month of using it starts to lag, like fps drop and it easily overheats. if you try to play game like call of duty, mobile legends, you'll experience frame drops.
