The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G 120W feature is enough to be superior to the other.The most important feature for me in the phone is that it has fast charging and the highest wattage. I threw away the iPhone and bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. It charges completely within minutes. What a wonderful feature.

Personally I prefer a SD slot...only because it's how and where I store my music and it's easier when changing to a new phone to just pop the SD card in. And I prefer the option of a headphone jack too. But hey that's just the way I like it. Great comparison video 👍👍

Yes, it would be more practical - it's very weird, since some earlier and quite recent Xiaomi phones in that price range - and even lower - do actually have a combined 2 SIM + 1 SD card adapter, so they already know that technology. On the other hand these phones do have OTG ( On The Go ) functionality via their USB-C ports, so that you can simply attach any USB-SD dongle to these phones via a special USB-OTG-cable. But that is however not a very pretty solution to this problem with the missing SD-card option 🙄

ISP (image signal processor) of Dimensity cpus are lower quality than Qualcomm cpus.. So its a pitty to put imx766 on dimensity devices.. Qualcomm cpu and sony lenses will always give better results than anything else..

I'm actually more interested in the "regular" Redmi Note 12's. I always need recommendations for cheap-ish phones with good screens for family and friends, and I don't like Mediatek SoCs because those devices are basically dead in the water as soon as the official support runs out, while popular Snapdragon devices usually get some custom ROMs to elongate their lifes.

Hey, thanks for watching. The Pro should have had the faster charging from the Pro Plus and also add EIS for 4k recordings and it would have been a phone I could recommend. At the moment I find the redmi line super boring and not worth buying 🤓 xiaomi 13 Lite is the way to go

tldr: - just buy the versions without the plus - advice from a +plus version owner I have Redmi Note 12 Pro+ (with plus) - and I would not buy it a second time - not that it's a bad smartphone, but simply not worth the money. I don't feel that the 200mpx camera is mega outstanding - tests also confirm this. On the other hand, in the price shelf of redmi note 12 pro (without plus) - it's hard to find anything better. And at a lower price this smartphone is a real madness how good a phone is at this money :)

Only reason i would want the plus is because of the camera and the 120 watt charger but then realized the file size would be too much since im a heavy camera user and i barely take pictures of far away stuff cause im in a city and the charging... Well its good but not worth the extra bucks

I have Xiaomi Redmi note 9 pro , wife has Xiaomi Redmi note10 pro . Both are almost the same in cameras, I`m professional wedding photographer & tested both . Also they have 3 card slots =2 sim + sd card. I also bought Xiaomi Redmi note 11 pro, it has worse cameras than 9 & 10 to my surprise , don`t has 4k video recording, no additional sdcard slot . So, Xiaomi 11 pro was sold . As I see new 12 pros are not better . From my experience best bang for the buck now is Xiaomi Note 10 pro = the smallest, 4k video, 3 cards slot, 120hz amoled, Snapdragon. By the way, date on package of mine 12.2022 . So, Xiaomi still produce them . 8\256 version is for 220 usd on Aliexpress. I managed to buy with coupons 8/256 for 185usd. I don`t want new 12 pro plus for almost twice a price.

Do these phones have dlna or not? ( it's very hard to find the proper information about this ). And if not - why??? It seems that many newer smartphones don't ( officially? ) have this very useful feature (activated? / licensed? ) for some mysterious reason - even midrange phones! - , which is a real shame, since most TVs, PCs, laptops, tablets, game consols and android boxes have it (still), and it usually works like a dream. Is there some sort of explanation as to why smartphone manufacturers would drop such a useful feature, since it's just an already developed software communication protocol that would cost them next to nothing to add to their phones? Can dlna functionality be activated or installed on such "inactivated" phones by installing a dlna server / controller such as the great BubbleUpnp for instance, which basically allows you to play any (allowed) shared media file on any of your other devices via your WiFi system, controlled from BubbleUpnp or other controller software? Even my great old ( 7 years ) Honor phone at less than half the price of these Xiaomi phones - and others in that price range - have this great dlna feature, so what on earth is going on here?
