Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12 Water Test by Tech4Test

Well my redmi note12 just fell into water and i got it out immediately. Currently the touchscreen is unresponsive. I actually came here looking for solutions to the unresponsive touchscreen. And here i see a note12 dipped in water for over an hour with no complications whatsoever. The reviews i have seen online say that the phone is not water resistant. So i am unsure what to make of this video.

Same here ...dropped it in the water and power volume button and power button is playing up and shii.....like when I try putting my volume down it screenshots....or when I leave it ,it just forces shut down .....SIM card tray was wet when I opened it ....I thought the white rubber thingy was the washer to keep the water away from the SIM card and the insides ....my second front lens is misty from the water that evaporated inside .... y'all have any idea how to fix this ?

@@akuilawaqalotua1815 I would advise you switch the phone off immediately if you haven't already done so. Take out the SIM tray get the SIM card out. If you have e way to get the battery out do so. Open every part of the phone that you possibly can and keep it in a place that is well ventilated for the next two days. That's what I did with mine. And it started working after two days.

Afaik Redmi 12 and Redmi Note 12 are totally different phones.

That's one of the main things that makes me want to buy this one than the 12S, the 12S don't have IP rating, it's screen is junt gorilla glass 1 and it's smaller

Mine dropped in the ocean while on the beach.. was scared that I'm losing my phone but it was perfectly working fine.. It was left in the water for about 2 minutes

My just dropped into a bowl of water for less than 1 min and the sound went off. I know it would come back on once the phone dries properly
