Yup. Just copped a S1 2 hours ago. Guy at the counter said the S1 had sapphire glass and that was it xD So far so good, and im impressed with the features.

I've had e Samsung galaxy watch active 2 recently. It got broken when I was having a bath. Shitty quality. Also that screen got scratches still, since the clock was more clumsy and thicker compared to this Xiaomi watch!

After researching Samsung, Garmin, I found this video and I was sold. Premium build, sapphire glass, long battery life and great features and interface. Best of all much cheaper than the aforementioned brands. Went for the S1 silver, btw

Would be nice to see a review of these watches the test the accuracy of the health apps such as heart rate and oxygen level. I recently bought and returned an Apple Watch series 7 because none of the health features could be set to constantly monitor and alert you if there was a problem. To me as a 75-year-old man these are what these watches a good four. I have an iPhone 12 pro to do everything else so why do I need one of these things if the health features don't work accurately.

If all you want is health features and not worried about "smart watch" features then get a Garmin. They can continuously monitor heart rate and last for weeks but they are expensive.

What I miss on the S1 Active is notification for regular apps like Gmail, messenger, etc. I have just some Chinese apps to choose from, and others… which is everything… The second issue for me is that I can't change the date format, in a phone I have everything ok, but on the watch is not like I wanted it to be. My wife has Mi Band 7 and she can change the date format which I can't do on a more expensive watch… wtf, any help?

It is anyway not worth the money, I can't keep a connection to my phone, and don't work fine, next watch will be something else, this was the last Xiaomi for me! And I know a man who works in Mi Shop EU, they are s**t and no review will say that, or do update after a few months to update a more real option…

How do you change units to miles instead of kilometres? Also did you find the heart rate monitor accurate as one time mine was reading 140-146bpm while I was lay down, my Fitbit was reading 76-83bpm and my Mi11 was reading 85bpm? Cheers
