sir , In case of Snell's law , if rarer medium is air and denser medium is water , mu=1.33 , if i=0, then r=0 , ratio of sin(i) to sin(r) becomes infinite .but mu= 1.33???

optically denser means speed of light reduces when enter from air. dense is related to density. eg. brick is denser than sponge. glass is optically denser than water. brick and glass can not be compared for light
