as far as i see xilonen is more for simple elemental damage buff and res shred to whichever reacts with geo while kazuha is more better on reaction and damage buffs with shred for whichever swirls with his anemo set.

@@Kyuuni1207 it makes sense and i also think that but xilonen being able to shred more easily and with longer uptime seems to also benefit cyno compare to kzh's shorter shred duration (its also harder to swirl electro for cyno's rotation unless theres another electro), and her ult CD reduction might benefit raiden and kq especially too, so food for thoughts 🤔edit: for cyno's situation the swirl difficulty still applies for cinder city set since it also requires reaction XD but thats for dmg bonus the valuable shred is still easy to get compare to kzh

This showcase is kinda misleading because realistically who uses Ayaka with Arlecchino? Unless you’re talking about speed running you wouldn’t be running a team like this and even then you don’t ult on kazuha to save time so the c2 becomes useless. The value of c2 Xilonen is that it allows you to focus on other stats like em and damage bonus. An Arlecchino can use an em sands with a c2 Xilonen and the damage would be comparable or even better than Kazuha. Balancing your stats is more important than stacks the same buffs. It’s the same reason why a c3 Furina can let you use an attack goblet and why you can build less crit rate and build more crit damage on Marechaussee Hunter. The keyword here is “free” stats not “more” stats. And I haven’t seen anyone consider this in their showcases.

My Neuvillette deals 103k damage and before Xilonen R1 it did 80k, although I'm going to get her C2 and Neuvillette C3 in the future. By the way, my Furina is C3 and Kazuha has nothing.

Xilonen looks better on paper, but in reality, she is only better in mono compositions. Kazuha can pull in enemies, apply elements, and deal a good amount of off-field damage, which can compensate for the loss of trading him for her. Yes, he provides fewer buffs, but for general DPS in a reaction composition, he offers substantially more overall DPS. There’s no power creep here.
