i think if you pair them up u dont need the weapon, C2R0 seems really strong with the 45% HP buff since furina already gives a ton of elemental dmg bonus

She lacks off-field damage, which will make it harder to trigger the artifact set's bonuses for multiple damage types, as well as things like Hu Tao teams. C0R1 Xil costs as much as C1 Furina, who buffs for more and starts out partially ramped up and has about the same primo cost (weapon banner requires winning a 75/25, and then a 50/50, which offsets the lower soft pity). She's geo, handy because it is less likely to mess up reactions, but Furina is hydro, handy because it's freaking hydro. Furina also outdamages her. But Furina has the healer tax, while Xil heals and debuffs resists. Furina enables a killer artifact set for your DPS characters, while Xilonen is at risk as far as hers goes... she's reliant on a killer artifact for a bunch of her value, which means if another strong Natlan support, one who does do off-field damage, comes out, Xil will potentially lose value. So lots of give and take between the two, when comparing like to like. Overall, the changes indicate they were mostly happy with her performance at c0, but that she had a few QoL issues. And that her weapon and c2 weren't quite appealing enough, especially when paired with geo. Hence the always active for 3-4 geo member parties, and the change from crit rate to geo DMG (because a Navia with cons and sig would easily overcap her crit rate on her elemental skill).

@@R_Batavia we are literally comparing damage buffing. Xilonen with signature + cinder city is 76% DMG bonus compared to Furina's 75%. She also had RES shred and at c2 becomes insane with how she buffs the team. The fact that Furina does damage is irrelevant because you have to slot a healer who generally does no damage. With Xilonen you can slot her into the healer slot and play a different sub-DPS, and then put Furina on a different team for Abyss. Obviously she isn't Geo Kazuha either because she can't Swirl.

except on a few situations like teams with Hyperbloom or aggravate, she buff just so much more than Kazuha it's almost scary. Then again Kazuha has the comfort of packing things together to better aoe them but still i'm glad we get a new super powerful support that also can heal we dearly needed that we can now open spots on others teams where Kazuha will help better (i'll keep him for my Keqing aggravate since Keqing doen't really need energy recharge very much and her burst is already short enough)

@@TechTalk0069 Her healing is team-wide, but on-field (aka "active characters") only. So effectively single target for solo play, but will heal multiple characters in co-op. As far as Kaz comparisons, Kaz also infuses his burst, which certain teams really like/need. And he does more damage. Furina, Xil and Kaz each have their good and bad points, and different teams will prefer different ones. And quite a few will run more than than one of the three ;)

As a c6 Yae main, take it from me, c2 is what you really want. I CANNOT advise going for her c1 if you're also going to get c2. It's a NICE constellation, but very unescessary, it is but a mere stepping stone to c2. At that point, you may as well go all in on Neuvilette's constellations. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by setting c1 Yae as a stopping point.

yep 40% geo dmg buff was too little. i said it should be 65%, but any increase is welcome. a lot of those changes are not from now though. just the geo thing. i'm getting c2, and i'm probably trying to get two copies of her sword too (that i'm not going to refine, yet, i want two swords. i might try to refine one of them on a rerun) I already have 350 wishes stored (my last wish in my main account was getting c3 for furina from c2, and i had 150 wishes left after that). before that? heck i think it was navia.

I am like you skipping Mualani (and also Kinich) to have enough Primogems for Xilonen and Chiori. I am debating with myself if I want already constellations (probably C1 for Chiori to be able to use her with Navia) or trying to get both their weapons while having both at C0. And the Weapon Banner for Nahida and Hu Tao is also tempting, as I do not mind getting another Staff of Homa (in the long run I want more Staff of Homa).

She's so good for PECH characters and Geo units that do not need Gorou. But she can't be used by Triple Geo teams because her passive won't work. The irony. My poor boy Itto, when are you getting that final character for team with Gorou and Furina that can buff and heal the team? Could have been Xilonen but she can't heal the team and can't shred Geo unless C2. And I already have C2 Kazuha so now I'm having doubts about getting Xilonen.

@@weirdo_called_F Weapon is more worth it in my opinion as it's cheaper. It gives 36% DMG bonus to every character on the party. C2 gives buffs according to their element. So certain characters won't benefit it that much. For example, Electro characters get Energy refund and CD reduction in which doesn't provide any buffs and Hydro characters, who scale of ATK like Ayato, Childe, Xingqiu won't need the HP buff. And don't forget, C2 doesn't include Anemo and Dendro elements therefore, Weapon is more useful for it's flexibility.

That's the one I'm looking forward to the most, personally. I mean, a DPS Raiden is going to love it. So will Aggravate Keqing, I expect, since she relies on her burst a lot. Aggravate Yae, if not using Troupe, will also like it quite a bit, since her burst has no ICD on its 3 hits. Not sure how much Clor uses her burst, so can't speak about her. But then there are Beidou and Lisa. Both have 20s cooldown bursts, which this would drop to 14s, and the energy effectively adjusts the energy cost to match. Beidou and Lisa's last 15s, so now can maintain uptime. There are some that lose out on the fun, of course. Fischl doesn't really care about the reduction. Dori wouldn't mind it, but Xil will likely be healing in a party Dori is in, which makes Dori redundant. And a few others, that, like Clor, I don't have enough experience to know how they'll be impacted. So overall, the other elements just get some bigger numbers, ones that, if you are going for a C2 Xil, you probably don't need anyway, because stuff is already trivial for you. But electro opens up some fun options that change how things play. And sure, it might not wind up being the best thing ever, but who cares? If you beat the timer, you get the rewards. And if you have fun doing it, well, that's why most of us spend time on games.

The thing to keep in mind is that the energy given isn't the benefit. The cool down reduction is. The energy is there so that you can take advantage of that. Without it, you'd need to increase your energy gain by a full third. With it, you don't have to sweat it... if you have enough ER for a team without Xil, you'll have enough for one with her. Hoyoverse is just not the best at communication, and so put the secondary effect that's there to support the primary one first, when really, they should have the cool down reduction being the first thing mentioned. And as far as Yae goes, I think you'll, or at least other users, probably will wind up liking it. That 22s cool down on her burst has never been the most rotation friendly, so lowering that 16s... Overall, Xil's bonuses are hit and miss for all the elements. A non-hp scaling hydro, a pyro like Thoma, Charlotte... there will be some characters that love her C2 buffs, and some that really won't care about them much. And as far as that goes, electro is no different than the rest.

are you serious? i think electro buff is the best one! imagine keqing. her burst will literally have 3 seconds downtime. she'll be in a burst state CONSTANTLY. raiden is going to get WAYYYYYYYYY smoother to use with her too! Yae will turn into a serious nuker being able to burst way more frequently. And of course, Sara is also getting the benefit. clorinde kinda getting the short stick here as her burst is trash. The ER bonus is to be able to keep up with the crazy pace of bursts.

I am FTP and have 387 pulls saved up so far, I am thinking of pulling for her weapon if i win the 50/50 for her, I want the pyro archon too. But wont go for the weapon if i lose . They stack additively, yes. Doesn't really matter if it is DMG to element, DMG to an attack type, or whatever. They add 'em up. But an important distinction to keep in mind is that her weapon is elemental DMG for the team, while the artifact set is dependent on her causing a reaction. So the weapon could, for example, buff Emilie's dendro damage, but the artifact set (if worn by Xilonen) cannot. As to what you should do: Pyro archon is rumored to be in 5.3, so you will have time to save up more wishes. We'll definitely know if that is the case or not once 5.1 hits and the test server gets updated for the 5.2 characters. Considering your F2P status, though, I'd suggest just getting Xilonen to start with. Build her, play her with Fav or the crafted sword, see how she plays. Then, based on that and the luck you had, any info learned about forthcoming stuff released during that time, and how you're feeling about her, decide on the weapon. You have a couple of weeks before the banner rolls over, so no need to rush on the weapon.

Already have all her mats to get her to max level aside from the boss that is not out yet, and have a decent set of artifacts leveled up with def/def/def, and a sans that is er if i don't use the Fav. Just gota get 2 solvents to make a billet, got the hilts, and the fangs, need some blazes. My only animo is Jean so far, i can't wait lol
