There’s a problem that wasn’t mentioned in the guid book which is.. the purple indicator.. I was playing Rainbow six siege with high sensitivity, the Apex started to blink from blue to purple. Then all my movements on the game were stopped. It happened to me couple of time and the timing gap between each stuttering and blinking is narrow. I don’t know what is exactly the problem but I hope someone who faced the same issue would be very kind and give me a hand.

Thing you don't mention, atleast I didn't notice you did, is that your mouse needs to have onboard memory. Otherways it will go to default dpi and polling rate soon as you remove it from pc and connect it to console...

That will counter the inconsistent polling at 1000Hz, without the risk of inconsistent polling if you also drop the mouse to 500Hz. 250Hz is worth trying if you want stickier aim assist. Again, leave the mouse at 1000Hz and change XIM APEX Response Rate to 250Hz.

OK this is gonna sound pretty dumb but I just ordered a XIM APEX for my Xbox one S and I have a mouse and keyboard that should be coming in tomorrow and like most of the mouse and keyboards they sell these days they are programmable and the mouse that I’m getting has six extra buttons. This probably depends on what mouse and keyboard it is but if I download the software and configure the extra buttons my mouse and keyboard on my laptop when I play on my Xbox will the extra 6 buttons on the mouse stay the same as I configured them on my laptop??

This is true, took me almost a year to get good with m & k. But i got to say i do think xim can be very op if someone gets realy good with m & k, for example when i played black ops 4 with a controller i had a 1,85 kd, i stoped playing the game , started with apex legends and also started to use xim shortly after that and now after several month i came back to bo4 and i am not lying my weekly kd is actually at 8.63 with a win/lose ratio of almost 8, i basically dont lose any games anymore no matter how much the team balancing of the game punishes me. So yes you wont get automatically good, but it can get very op if you have someone who gets very good with m & k

it is more accurate to use a mouse that you control with your hand rather than using a thumb you do need to get used to it set the right dpi for you and all that but an easier way to compare is like saying you can using a controller to aim is much easier now because of the over done aim assist that almost seems like an aimbot i do f eel bad for people having a disadvantage on console though i just want to use this for exclusive single player games.

Auxiliary is just so you can created another class so when u hold a key that setting is activated for example Let’s say your setting are not good to drive a car so you need a class with higher sensitivity that’s where this kicks in you will set it up to a sensitive u are use to to drive the car by hold the key u set it up with so it wont interfere with ur other setting the ads and hip

@@jojonoluv4098 yes it does. With the new firmware, should have no issues. Make sure to set your dpi anywhere from 2000 to 4000 dpi with a recommendation 500hz. 1000hz can work too but you may have to play around with it to find your own sweet spot. There’s a XIM official tutorial for it.

you unfortunately will have to unplug one of them. if you have no performance and space issues, then unplug the hd so you can use the mic in game, you will want it for the team games

@@KaneoYT i dont believe it will. I coupd be wrong but I believe putting both onto a usb would probably confuse the input. Your ps4 wouldnt know to treat it as a controller or headphone input.

everybody assumes u only have to use a keyboard to move for pc or the xim thats wrong u can also use a move controller and mouse which is way better than using a keyboard in my opinion

I used controller all my life, after using mouse and keyboard.. What hard mouse mat do you recdoment? I'm wanting to break myself into mnk gently myself so thinking of trying it on my ps4 first until I'm used to it. Sae you mentioned about the mouse detecting the fibres in the mat but struggling to find an extended one thats not material.

this tutorial is way beyond great review. I mean it. I am a kind of person who looks in every possible best or easy methods for this kind of stuffs. I really admire and at the same time very thankful for this kind of effort and btw congratulations for that xim apex productions noticed you for their review. I only have a very garbage laptop and a ps4 only. As much as I want to buy xim apex here in Cambodia to experience the most precise mouse that we can have this life time well I can't make it. For the fact that the whole shops here that have the power to ship or have this product are not giving effort for how they can provide me that one. Nah.. Just sharing my frustration here.. Sorry. ultimately it is cheating. cause you can use the xim on pc to get aim assist on apex legends which is not cross platform. now on WARZONE this is awesome. you get the precision of a mouse and the aim assist the console players get
