Its too new to have windows app DIY just yet. And factory win/linux app dont have also yet. hopefully in the near future

It would be great if you could get a comparison shot by using a PC with the same webcam program, that way there's much less disparity between the shots that can be caused by software

I will think about making a video about it but this comparison is more fair since both are in their native software. They use different ASIC chips and both app based on different SDK.

Cannot take out the lens of the XH15 unless forcing it. And the threading of the T3 also different.

Maybe this is a software thing, but at 20:30 it appears that T3 search has greater contrast in the image

I have the T3 Search and I can confirm it is a software problem.. Anyway the XH15 (X3) looks much sensitive.. The last software update of the T3 search is become very dump, basically thei destroyed the software.

Thermal cameras not working operate like CMOS. What you have to see in the video is the fine detailes of objects. in the time stamp you sent exactly you can see the tree have much more detail on the X3

​@@ThermalWorld_I had been wondering why, in my opinion, the footage in the original T3 Search review looked better than it does in this side by side comparison. So maybe this is explained, as you say, by a bad software update on the T3.

Also your particular XH15 seems to have much better uniformity in the image, but I know that this can vary between units (my X09 has the upper part of the of the sensor that is hotter compared to the rest of the image for example).
