Look at the sky, not a lot of grading, samt with the dynamic range on the second building in the back at the far right 12:33 its close to being washed out on the X3 and fall in with the blue. But the X3 seems to use a harder edge & sharpening algoritme.. to the point that corners almost got a glow of their own, like on the high building modfront.. it looks like a more processed result than the T3 but it can be down to the palette that do vary between them. but at times on the far field shorts it does look like you have more contrast on the T3 even though the sensitvity in theory should be less. but the pixel pitch is also smaller on specs with X3 at 12µm vs 17 µm on the older T3 and that does undermine the snr [signal to noise ratio] that goes up when you lower the pixelpitch.. Thx for the vid. Would love to see 6-series dongle from Iray with VGA res..

Despite the X3 has much thermal resolution do to small pixels the T3 defends itself with good contrast and more depth on the images on open field.. Looks like the X3 needs some work on the software for overshooting a little bit with colors. Nice comparison.. Going next for the X3, I love it.

Thermal cameras Not "shooting color" :D The thermal contrast is much better on the X3 because of the almost 2x sensitivity to distinguish between smaller temperature differences than the T3. And of course 60Hz on the X3 vs 25hz T3

Maybe this is a software thing, but at 20:30 it appears that T3 search has greater contrast in the image

I have the T3 Search and I can confirm it is a software problem.. Anyway the XH15 (X3) looks much sensitive.. The last software update of the T3 search is become very dump, basically thei destroyed the software.

Thermal cameras not working operate like CMOS. What you have to see in the video is the fine detailes of objects. in the time stamp you sent exactly you can see the tree have much more detail on the X3

Also your particular XH15 seems to have much better uniformity in the image, but I know that this can vary between units (my X09 has the upper part of the of the sensor that is hotter compared to the rest of the image for example).
