Hi there - I actually managed to buy these in a shop here in Moscow - but sadly they do not deliver outside the city. Here is their site dochello.ru/tovary_narodnogo_potrieblieniia - sadly in Russian. But if you have access to a 3d printer here is a link to the steering column butterfly and the rear mudguard protector www.thingiverse.com/search?q=xiaomi+M365&sa=&dwh=5559de028a07b44

Can you please link to the website where you purchased those items . Other mods (which i did), I changed the handlebar grips, i find the round grey ones on the machine dull and uncomfortable , they slip off easily enough , if you go to Evans Cycles you will find ergonomic handlebar grips, easy to fit (FWE grips are perfect) , also i added a holder for my phone which protects the phone should it rain, you can get those from Decathlon , i also added a stowage bag which fits on the 'A; frame above the footplate, it is a Cycle seat bag which i turned upside down and attached to the scooter with plastic cable ties (from Halfords) i also attached a mini pump to the same 'A' frame, an additional long rechargeable LED light offers extra visibility as the nights get longer , i recommend using Gorilla tape to seal the binnacle joints where the on/off button is , I also carry strips of Gorilla tape in the stowage bag so if it rains i can cover the red rubber charging cover from water ingress ,this is the machine that saves me money (no bus fares) and time, the build quality is excellent, i have had punctures and some people say you should add Slime puncture repair in the inner tube that did not work for me , i ordered enough inner tubes online so i don't have to,(use Vaseline on the rim to release / slip on the tyres, so easy) also i was thinking about installing the hard tyre but decided not to, you will lose the smoothness and 'give' that the air inflated tyre offers, safe scooting and let us know how you get on , BTW, i solved the creaking joint problem by using a old subway loyalty card, cut to shape and stuck on with Araldite, it works perfectly !.

Your mods sound great and I might try some of them especially like the phone holder. At the same shop I bought the parts you can buy a clear plastic cover for the top of the steering column which protects the quite vulnerable switch but still allows it to switch on - I have not been able to find a site that gives the files to print that item. Anyone I know who has installed the hard tyre has regretted it. I can't buy Slime here - but another equivalent which doesnt have great write-ups so I am waiting until I get a flat before thinking what to do...It is interesting that the new Xiaomi scooter has an inflatable front and solid rear tyre.....

Hi again , i fashioned a rear mudguard protector and mudguard from existing materials, good job done too !, as for the battery end plate, i found the correct foam to apply to the existing plate to hold the battery unit firm plus added sealant to prevent water ingress, for the charging point i used plastic and Velcro which covers the red rubber plug completely and prevents water ingress.

With this final tip don't you have a problem with the batteries to overheat? Because the original have holes to the heat go out and the new don't
@rebootxy37966 жыл бұрын
No issues so far....and have used in summer here which gets pretty hot
@skeelo697 жыл бұрын
Another way of stopping the battery from moving about and loosening the contacts.. Buy a Yoga Mat ! , a Yoga mat has the right foam thickness that will press onto the battery and keep the contacts still. Cut it to size to fit inside the battery compartment, seal the compartment as described in the video with silicone sealant , i have had my Yoga mat fit installed for over two months now, absolutely no problems!.
@rebootxy37966 жыл бұрын
Great idea - the only issue I would have would be that you need to leave some space so it does not overheat

Good video with good advice. Unfortunately you cannot buy the more important part for the battery unless you live in Russia. .
@rebootxy37966 жыл бұрын
Sadly that is true = one of the other viewers suggested cutting up a yoga mat and using that to cushion the batteries, that could help but don't completely cover them as otherwise they may overheat

The best site I can find that delivers most anywhere for Xiaomi parts and accessories is AliExpress www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?spm=2114.search0104.1.4.9p8XBy&SearchText=xiaomi+mijia+m365&initiative_id=RS_20171011050543 - howver they don't seem to have some of the useful smaller parts.

I think the reason why so many of these things are not in English is because the country where the language originated that is having so many problems with pollution simply don't allow these scooters on the street legally so rather than drawing attention to yourself by promoting the scooters potential fixes people simply don't bother. I'm talking about the UK by the way in case you didn't realise that.

Was in the UK early this week and saw two of them on the road (probably illegally) If people want this scooter best they know how to keep it running
