Xiomi Mijia m365 noise front squeel knocking sound easy FIX

The Xiomi electric scooter is great, but ours had some noises coming from the rear wheel and the steering column in front. Just use several layers of duct tape or cut out a patch from flexing plastic material to prevent the friction in the locking mechanism. For the rear just put some oil on both sides of the rear axle without disassembly. Enjoy!

Its a fast solution i have to admit, but for long term abuse like i do with my scooter, it only will cover the problem and not solve it. For thoose crackheads like i am (tuned up to 30km/h while ignoring potholes and benches) i recommend tightening the bolts and lubricate the whole mechanism with a greasy stuff (and not wd40) Anyway, for the most ppl you made a big help, thanks for the video and keep safe y'all!

*i really thought it was the wheel bearing at first, then while riding I pushed the handle bar forward and noise was not there anymore, this seemed to fix the problem, thanks*

Just tighten up the locking mechanism and/or lubricate with liquid grease both parts of it where they're touching instead of inserting garbages in the mechanism.........

I fixed mine but without tape. All the screws were tight other than the screw that adjust the locking sistem. All I've done to fix the crackling sound was to spray with anti rust spray all the parts from there. Hope this helps you!

@@umutramo i know that wd40 for all cases in those power tape cant help.. :) but wd40 is basically denatured alcohol with some fragance, i recommend to use something else with better viscosity, more greasy stuff for having a longer term solution and keep the wd for screw loosening

i had that as well and guess what i did? i just opened it up jiggled it a little bit back and fort (i guess the greasy inside was one sided or something i dont know) and it never came back again.

​@@iassendjabirov2275 Probobly your case is different. Anyway it doesn't work for some scooters. Mine scooter wheel is not loose but i get these sounds eaven if i try to use a piece of tape or rubber, in my case its not a solution becouse of to much tension.

Aidas migloJE it’s the folding mechanism base, it’s rubbing on the piece of plastic it sits on. The bolt that holds the base to the “fork” that the wheels are attached you can be tightened (The bolt dead center of the folding mechanisms base pointed down) but this only works for a short time as it will comes loose again... it’s not very well designed. I got a locking washer and that helped a little bit.

I adjusted mine, it's really hard to lock the folding mechanism but the noise is still there

@@RisinT96 lubricate the triangle head bolt that holds the folding mechanism together. Loosen the one you tightened back a little. If its too tight it can break.

This is not right fixing. All you need is to adjust the screw and lube all parts that touches each other.

@@iuristasiv9360 problem solved. its not the folding mechanism. it was the rod that was hammered into the folding mechanism. I drilled a hole and fixed it with a screw.
