I- just- since this video says it so many times I have to ask. How do you pronounce Xelqua? For the longest time I’ve pronounced it (X-quell-a) but is it actually (X-ell-quwa)?

the second one is the one out of those two that would work based on phonetic rules the first one has the sounds in the wrong order from how the word is spelled. personally i’ve never heard the name actually spoken by grian or anyone else and i read it first so i go with how i read it even tho it’s wrong cause it makes the most sense to me. i say zell-kah cause i was thinking “x as in xylophone” and “qu as in Quebec or Qunaba but its sposed to be sell-kwah. at this point it’s like speaking a half dead language that has a bunch of different dialects that sound different. at this point there’s so many variations of how you say xelqua that so long as we know what you’re talking about it doesn’t really matter i guess. say it however you think sounds coolest ig that’s why i stuck with my original pronunciation.

Idk, but i'm pretty sure X didn't have wings beforehand.

I believe he changed X wings and gave him a tail because in this video of Melody : kzbin.info/www/bejne/inqcdnmEpqyJqc0 , we see X as a child and he doesn't have a tail and his wings are different, maybe even damaged for experiments and so my guess is the he couldn't fly anymore. I believe it's the same AU since it's not precised and Melody seems to only have one AU (currently on yt)
