The first question was a wholly different line of questioning and therefore doesn't count towards the proceeding questioning. Pretty simple logic. C'mon you have got to understand how a game works, right? The only questions that count are the ones in the permitted time allowance. The 'how many questions can you...' question was before the 45 second timer started, meaning it doesn't count towards the questions in the game, making the validity of her answer completely moot. No it doesn't. The first question was: "How many questions can you answer incorrectly in 45 seconds?" The important part being that 45 second timeframe, the clock wasn't ticking for that first one which means for the purposes of the game it doesn't count. If the clock had been ticking at that time she would've gotten one fewer question in, which means one fewer false answer which would mean she would still only have nine. Which is kinda sad because i love paradoxes.
