Personally, I think JHud, LaToya, and Fantasia are the three best singers this competition has ever seen in terms of sheer vocal ability. Each one was different but they all had such power!! What a show this Final 3 would have made! Can you imagine? They would have blown the rafters off that place.

You are so right..to me this was the best season AI has EVER had. Fantasia, Jennifer, Latoya and George literally sang circles around the other contestants head almost every night LOL I mean it was RIDICULOUS. Vocally they were on a different level that everyone else. I think diana, Leah and Jasmine all had cute voices but when it came down to "showing up and showing out" infront of the crowd..it was no comparison who the top singers were that season. Much love to the 3 Divas and Mr. G. Huff :)

My favorite year ever. Fantasia's win was the most powerful AI win ever!! Problem with the finals is that when the public votes, they split votes. Fantasia, LaToya and Hudson (diva powerhouses) each claim a similar voting base (powerhouse divas) and Diana DeGarmo attracts AI's watching base (midwest/country fans) and hence, we never get to see Kelly v. Tamyra, Latoya v. Fantasia, or any of the finals we should. Sad, but true.

Jennifer hudson should have won this season. I will say, her voice has matured and she has gained control over it since her American Idol experience. 5:56 that's when the real show begins. Chills...I continue to get chills when Jennifer, Latoya and Fantasia take the stage. It should have been them in the top three. American Idol voters or the producers -- whoever! Conspiracy or not, it's wrong how Jennifer and Latoya left so early. Diana Degarmo didn't have a chance against Fantasia -- especially when you compare her version of 'Believe' to Fantasia's. PALES IN COMPARSION BY FAR!

The only reason that I watch half of the season was because of Jhennifer, for some reason she remind me of a teacher I had in Puerto Rico, plus I loved her voice.! I'm so happy to know God blessed her the way He did.! Still can believe she dind't won the show, I dind't like Fantasia that much..but I guess everything ended up for the best.! God Bless

Best season ever, in my opinion. Season 2 is a close second. Followed by season 5. The rest of the seasons I didn't care too much for one way or the other, though Carrie Underwood is probably the best contestant to ever win on the show.
