Okay, so here's a funny thing: I'm still watching H50 for the first time (and I probably shouldn't have been watching fanvids yet because of spoilers, but that's actually part of how I got into the show, so I never really stopped), and I just now hit 5x07 and it was intense, but then I got to the end and. Oh god. I immediately recognized that song from this (how could I not have, after I'd watched this about a hundred times, and literally twice just yesterday) and the fact that they'd basically made their own canon fanvid for the end of their 100th episode had me going "holy shit" anyway, but I also went HOLY SHIT, because !!! EVEN THE SONG YOU USED IS A PERFECT CHOICE FOR THESE CHARACTERS. I mean, I already thought so, because the lyrics are so good!! They work so well!! But now it has canon connections to a moment where Danny was holding Steve up and fjdklfjdk that makes it even MORE emotional. Idk, this was rambly, but tl;dr: I love this fanvid so much, seriously, wow, and I'm blown away all over again.

Brothers from the start to the end. The whole show is about family, family we are blood with and family that come into our lives for a reason. Steve needed family he got that in the seals, brothers in arms. He got a father figure who tried his hardest to protect him and his father did everything to protect him and his sister. Then he lost two people he loved his father and Freddie. He then built his ohuna over 10 years of ppl who needed him as much as he needed them. Ppl who were broken themselves as Danny once said " you like to collect broken things and fix em" he truly does every single one of them.
