Nice exactly what I've been looking for i really like how the rods are minimalistic on this cage instead of using an exta plate to make the cam look too high .. just like you said it. Also thanks for the reply on the previous video. SUBSCRIBED!

Hi, thanks for the review. I've been looking at this cage since before my Pyxis shipped. Unrelated question, to the cage, what brand is that red braided locking USB cable???

nice video! i got the same cage with v mount and it is very long now, maybe i will mount a transmitter on the side, is it correct that your monitor loops the sdi input to the transmitter right? clean feed.

@@RobinTravelThrough yes that’s right, the Feelworld S7 can send a 3G or 12G SDI loopout. I have in fact done a shoot since recording this with the Cineview mounted on the side as you mentioned. Definitely keeps it more compact!

thanks for your review! are you happy with the PDMOVIE Live AIR3 Smart PDL-AFX-S LiDAR follow focus system? Somehow I dont like the fact, that you need extra batteries and cannot run it from the overall vmount power source in your future build.... btw, waiting for next videos with this rig on your easyrig! cool stuff!

I used to use a PD movie that allowed wired connection between the motor, a thumbwheel and the vmount. And while I do think I preferred the thumbwheel on that one, the battery powered nature of this one hasn't been a downside. I did think I might not like it, but in use they last a long time and it keeps my rigs very neat. I've also pulled off the control wheel on a few shoots to pull focus on a monitor away from the camera.

@@Dale_Campbell I see... I use a quite old moza iFocus wireless system, which totally sucks, especially since you have to bind and program it whenever it is powered.... that's why I'm looking into those systems... always stumbling into tilta nano, of course...

In terms of the ease of use the PD movie has been flawless for me, just works very little fuss 👍🏼
