Great tutorial. I was able to add textures to my home using actual material & color choices Hover provided like GAF shingles, LP Smart Siding, etc. then when all I had to use Sketchup for was to do the Save As and Export steps!

the skp file that Hover sends me won't open. It gives the error "File not found or invalid". Anyone know how to get around this? Is the .skp that Hover sends me corrupted somehow?

You need to get the .skp file converted to an obj file for xlights to use it.

I had the same issue today. Email Hover support and request the DMX or DMG file. Import into Sketchup as a component.
