What i like about this is the head sculpt without the pony tail it shows more emotion..anger with mouth is open as well..Some battle damage also is a plus..

Completely underused (as in never) character in the movies. They even teased a Mr. Sinister in Dark Phoenix. But I would take Omega Red in an X-Men movie any day (would have to be a "R" to pull it off though).

It make sense that Magneto using his power to hold something up. Omega red holding up his tentacles sideway just not doing it. Should be better off wrap around his hands for relax pose, or ready to attack from both sides. Better yet switch options you can choose which hand to attack.

guess this is a different strokes for different folks piece, I fkn love it. Got him and Gambit in this week and Gambit might be ever so slightly better but this is pretty much the same score for me, paint is great, sculpt is great, I don't find the pose as awkward as you do and I do think there is a clear viewing angle, its straight on so he is looking forward, the coil in his left hand is intentionally lower at the front so he is looking over it.

I think this statue is pretty cool! I think it captures Omega Red almost perfectly. The stance is slightly awkward but I may not have really noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it. The one thing that I might be nitpicking about is that the damage to his shoulder guards look like perfect mirror images of each other which could be laziness in production. But otherwise I really like this piece. GOD Bless as always Brother!

I see your complaints for sure but i think it looks pretty damn good. The pose is a little funky but i could look past that. The custom is definitely a better concept and pose so I can see why you have that opinion. Curious to see how they will compare.

You need another Spawn statue but with the red cape in your collection to have more color. As you mentioned with this Omega, the color will pop out

One of my favorite villains from the cartoon and character in Marcel verses series. I like the statue but the pose is awkward. Then again this will probably be the only licensed 1/4 scale Omega Red statue. I will probably look for it in the future.

Interesting. I watched Gem Mint's review the day it came out and he really seemed to like it. I don't recall him mentioning anything about the awkward pose and at the time it looked OK to me from his video shots. But now that you mention it, it seems like he is about to fall backwards depending on how you look at it. But a 3 out of 5?! I don't know about that? Guess I would have to see it in person. I suspect if I viewed all of your reviews where you gave a 3 out of 5, those statues would probably be a lot worse in my opinion. Thanks for the review and welcome back home! I don’t mind the pose. The snow is objectively bad on the base but I’m glad that they seem to be steering toward smaller bases. Some of the 1:4 scale stuff is completely overboard (cough, prime 1 Venom) and adds nothing to the statue. That Lane Bryant joke made me laugh out loud just as I was thinking “well, Mr. X. The soviets were known for their bulky hardware during World War II, so that aesthetic makes sense”

No way family.... The hair on Omega Red is almost every mans want. Especially after 40. The hair looks great i do agree with everything else you said. Omega & Cable are in my top 10 of xmen characters & my favs in the mvc2 video game. Great review.

Oh man..m omega red. Another very unpopular character but still a bad ass Villian. He was so cool in the 90's cartoon. He looks so fricking awesome he will look amazing in your X-Men collection. The base is very interesting and unique. I think if you look at his pose as if he is landing from a fall or jump instead of standing up it doesn't look as bad the legs but you are right. Waist up he looks awesome. He looked like an easy essembly love that angry agonising open mouth portrait. I agree the snow is not the best but I do love the base. The machine look and rusty look is quite nice. 3 out of 5 is a fair rating. I agree with alot you said. I think he is a nice and I retesting piece he may not be the best version in the future to be released but a good enough version for now we shall see when your custom one arrives haha take care mate stay safe to you and the X family.

Not digging this one either, though I have not seen it in person; compared to Cyclops and Gambit, the last two X-men I've seen (both home runs IMO), I feel this one could have been done better, especially the bottom half as you pointed out in your review. Excellent portraits though, favorite part of the statue.

Another review where I agree with pretty much all of your points. I've said it before, this piece looks cool, but the angle of how he's standing along with just one key/peg on one foot just creeps me out. I keep hearing how XM is great with engineering and most of their pieces don't have any leaning issues, but this seems like it could be a major problem in a few years. I hope that won't be the case for the collectors who did pick this guy up, but he's not a piece I'd be willing to gamble on.

I actually loved the prototype, but when I saw in hand pictures my love disappeared a little bit due to the paint job on factory. In my opinion they added too much unnecessary grey shade to the facee which I hate, and the red on the suit is so bright red... For me the sculpt is awesome but they failed a little bit in production paintjob. Still an awesome piece tho
