Closer to size of Cinemaquette, I’ll do a video of one of my shelves with them all lined up shortly. It definitely goes well and I don’t think anyone but XM will be doing 1/3’s in the near future.

Yeah it’s more close to the Cinemaquette sized proportions. A larger piece overall than a sideshow 1/4 maquette.

I don’t get as much of a buzz with this as I do with the film stuff but I don’t analyse the small issues and paint as much anymore, on display it looks fantastic and happy to have it.

Very akward pose. How do you compare it to the new Big Game Predator by Prime 1?

I don’t think it’s an awkward pose at all tbh. Looks like he’s scaling a slope and roaring on top. I’d rate this a lot better than the big game. Narin is an incredible sculptor and this is 1/3 so a lot bigger. But dreads on this are annoying to assemble and keep in. New big game paint looks a bit flat and different shade on the legs and body. The paint on the body on this isn’t that great either but it’s very detailed and the armour has been done really well. This looks realistic where as big game looks comical as it should.

@@Roscoe0583 1/3 so how tall total. Big Game is at 28 inches tall. I guess i just prefer my Predator poses standing upright versus sloped, crouching or taking a knee. It's just more menacing to me when the predator is standing straight at you with arm sprawled out right similar to the movie when The Predator was just about to take on Dutch 1D One after he took his bio mask off

@@barthakingsley6482 I get what you are saying but it’s a completely different predator and not the original at the end of the day. If you count the spear this piece is close to a metre tall, because he’s crouching it might be a little lower than big game but he’s way more bulky than 1/4 preds. I have every licensed pred maquette and the pose is a nice change for me.

Last question. Do you think the Sengoku Predator will be highly desirable?

@@barthakingsley6482 hard to say, most people go for the film stuff but I’m assuming a lot of Asian collectors will go for it and if it’s low edition it might be hard to find later, as are most pred pieces.

great review, thanks, but the dots on the body and all were sloppily painted, a total letdown for me. XM doesn't cope well with the final paint job, as it happened to my Alien Warrior too. Shame.
