Hasbro is still not using the Renew Your Vows style torso articulation on Spider-Man figures so I am going to pass on all of them except for Chameleon. I will only purchase new characters or build-a-figure essentials that have the old style articulation from now on. I won't be surprised if all of the build-a-figure waves are only fan channel exclusives. Movie themed toys seem to be the only items Hasbro is willing to keep on retail shelves. I rarely see any Marvel comic based figures at Walmart or Target nowadays.

Nothing I'm excited about here. Cool if you like Spidey & X-Men, but I was hoping for more classic bronze age-era characters. Where are the Invaders? Jim Hammond Human Torch & Toro, Baron Blood and a Bucky re-do are badly-needed. How about Asgardians? We could easily use an entire wave featuring classic Thor with Kirby styling, an Enchantress using the new Power Princess body plus Sif and the Warriors 3. What about updates of fan-demanded characters like the Wrecking Crew, Klaw or a decent Morbius? And let's not get started on a certain schizophrenic size-changing Avenger I'm beginning to doubt we will ever see. An uninspired showing for the 1st quarter. Lots of room for improvement.

The reason why the neck of Lizard looks goofy is because the torso is a total reuse of the 2012 TASM Movie Series Lizard figure, 2+years and they still couldn't sculpt a brand new figure from scratch.

Chameleon has been my most wanted figure in the line for a while, he rounds off the major Spider-Man villains to me. Unfortunately I'm not as big a fan of the 90's animated look, don't get me wrong it's a far more interesting design than just another suit body for him, I just feel like given his premise of blending in him having a big colourful costume was a bit much, then again it's not like practicality was a concern for the fashion sense of Spidey's other foes. Glad to see more FFH villains but Lizard is an easy skip for me, never cared for that iteration of the character or his design, I'd pick up an MCU Electro in a heartbeat though.

The only thing positive from those reveals is how much money I’m gunna save not buying them. Nemesis was dope as hell, and marrow was cool. I am absolutely heart broken about that spider man unlimited figure. Lack of proper articulation in a spider man figure is a deal breaker for me. Agent venom gives me hope of seeing a re do of anti venom. Very mid reveals

Great character choices. M and Chamber were not enough for me to pull the trigger. Knowing we are getting Husk I can swing back and get those two. Spider-man Unlimited looks odd with out his core shadow. Happy to add Marrow to my MVC display. Agent Venom looks cool. I appreciated how Flash was made relevant again. May get it.

I see your point about lacking articulation, but more important for me was just having new sculpting, the right proportions, and all pinless joints. They did that, so mission accomplished. None of the figures felt phoned in other than Lizard, which is basically the same as the one from ten years ago. The objectively best figure is Nemesis, but he should be since he's the BAF. The one I'm most hyped for is the Chameleon. Like you, it's the version of him I wanted the most.

That Nemesis is the 616 version called Genocide from the Uncanny X-Force comics. Out of the Spiderman wave I am excited for Chameleon, Agent Venom and Kane, I will skip the rest. I will get all the BAF X-men figures but I am mostly excited for Cyclops (favorite character), and Husk (I wish we could get an elemental body for her). Heck I am excited for all of them X-Men ones except Wolverine who I will skip.

Depending upon how they look and work in-hand, I'm thinking that I'll probably use the BAF parts as potential upgrades/morphs for my BOX Armor II (aka BAF Crimson Dynamo), particularly the gun arm and cable hose parts... Not sure what might be possible with the head dome, skull & flames w/ regard to the torso itself, but maybe some type of Ghostrider type custom. 🤔 I guess we'll see. I have no interest in the AoA stuff, and so, no specific interest in getting that character as a BAF, but since I'll be getting the entire wave, I'll have the parts to either update/upgrade my BOX II or just get rid of the whole figure... I am hoping to be able to give my BOX II that gun arm, though...!

HASBRO’s laziness with the Marvel Legends line is questionable as to whether or not they’re about to lose the license in the next two years or so. The fact that they can’t do a proper SPIDER-MAN figure with proper articulation, is a testament that they really don’t care. Thanks for your efforts reviewing the reveals from ML. I watched the livestream, and I couldn't help thinking the same things you mentioned. Where's the innovation for 2025? The only mention of paint and wash came from Dwight on the Lizard reveal. Suspiciously, I believe a price hike is forthcoming, and if ML's rise above $35 with older tech - things might not turn out so hot. A lot of consumers will be wise to that and just wait until discounted. Holocaust looks fantastic and will undoubtedly capture a lot of attention in 2025 when released. Thanks again.

So my thoughts on all the spidey reveals Electro 5/10 not familiar with her but the new effects are nice. Spider-boy 5/10 nerutal on him need to learn more before judgment Spidey unlimited 4/10 personally not a fan and I love this suit I think it’s the colors or maybe the fact he’s not shaded Kaine 7.5/10 it’s all 90’s edge but it’s so cheesy I love it Agent venom 8/10 the torso is Waht brings it down everything else is great. Chameleon 10/10 no notes 77 spidey 5/10 no comment cause this is the first time I’ve seen this spidey. Lizard 6/10 they could have been better to me no bendy wire the neck flap jsut bring the fig down Overall I’m most hyped for chameleon and agent venom with kaine in a close second.

it seems like the team is being a bit more receptive to our wants when it comes to the characters we want but they arent really considering the continuity of articulation that we want...the molds they use for spiderman characters are eerily inconsistent and the excuse of using all the old bucks to make new ones is outdated now, i really enjoyed the showing of figs but im also kinda annoyed that the Spider-Man Unlimited figure is on a Sunfire body...BUT THEY ACTUALLY SCULPTED OVER IT...BUT!!! Cyclops is my all time favorite X-Men and my 2nd favorite character from anything ever, only behind Dr. Egon Spengler from Ghostbusters. Trainee Cyclops? Sure, why not? 70's-80's Cyclops? Yes, please. White and Blue Cyke? Yup. Last X-Factor costume Cyclops? Sure. Slimm? Give me. Cy-pocalypse? Eh, yeah, I'll still buy it. Short sleeved black costume Cyclops? Of course. Hasbro continues to Hasbro. They give with one hand, and have you scratching your head with the other. I'd originally planned on just getting Cyclops, Husk, and possibly Marrow from that X-Men wave, but that BAF has me rethinking things... Still kind of on the fence about the Spider-Man wave as they're all interesting for various reasons, but I don't feel much of a calling to any them. I definitely want to get the Savage Land Professor X and Spider-Man '77 (huge nostalgia hit for me). Now all we (me) need is a Bixby/Ferrigno Hulk 2-pack. The Reb Brown Captain America was kinda *meh* and the Iron-Man was even more *meh*...
