We have a biscuit here just called a thin, comes in chocolate, and vanilla ones,anyway back in the ‘70s it was very popular to make an icebox cake out of the chocolate ones, you took a cookie spread it with whipped cream, then sandwiched it with another cookie, then whipped cream, then cookie, and so on till you had a log, then you refrigerated it over night, and by the next day it was much bigger as the cookies( biscuits) had absorbed some of the liquid from the cream, you then sliced it on the diagonal, and you got this wonderfully chocolate fudge cake, and I thought before you put the Oreos in the processor that was what you were going to do. Like other ladies on here I would say a trifle would be lovely.😊

Back in the 70’s we used ginger biscuits sandwiched together with stiff whipped cream and finished off with cream spread all over. Learned it at a Tupperware party! Merry Christmas Ian and Mandy to you and yours. I hope your New Year brings you all the things you wish for yourselves ❤

I’d like to try the Oreo pudding this weekend. Do you usually use branded Oreo’s? Once you’ve rolled it up do you cover in cream or leave it as it is? Sorry for asking so many questions!
@thedinnerlady91805 сағат бұрын
Yes use proper oreos either way x
@ddiginhokj10 сағат бұрын
Make it into a trifle Amanda, it would be OK as the base with some sherry and fruit, topped with custard and cream. Yorkiees were amazing.
@kathielewis68312 сағат бұрын
Use the pudding as a chocolate Eaton mess sort of pud, at the end of the day its trial and error, yorkies look amazing I’m gonna do this recipe for yorkie next time, we do the sprouts with bacon but with slice the spouts and add to the bacon then fry with a knob of butter, have a wonderful Christmas with your family xx

I remember as a child and growing up we always had ghost yummy Yu you are well prepared so as to enjoy Christmas morning with family write down to the Yorkshire puddings which I must say is exactly how I make them equal quantities of each ingredient even to a splash of cold water

I’d never have Yorkshire pudding with a Christmas turkey dinner. It must be a new modern thing. I associate Yorkshire pud with beef dinner.
