thank you capulocity... since the beginning of this year I have been trying to really get into playing this music, transcribing etc. and discovering who's playing really gets to me. Lots of pianists, but there is a particular bunch of guys that I would like to emulate, Bud, Barry Harris, Mulgrew Miller, Kenny Barron, Benny Green, and just a few days ago thanks to youtube Johnny O'Neal.. it's a sort of 'dark soft' sound I can't get enough of at the moment.
