I’m loving my vigilante. I did some upgrading to mine because I think mine had a bad esc. It was stupid slow. So it’s now got a Max5, HW 4990 1650kv g2 motor, ear plus in the center and 500k in front 200k in read and that thing is a monster now! And your the reason I pulled the trigger and bought the vigilante💪🏼 love the videos my buddy

I know you don't think its fair to compare the upgraded Xmaxx to the stock Redcat, but honestly i think it's a showcase to the potential of the redcat. There's not many bigger scale 8s cars you can just beat on right out of the box like that.

That landing at 13:50 is the hardest terrible landing I've ever seen. I'm not talking about just your channel, I'm saying anywhere. The Xmaxx suspension bent completely half at al corners ... and that one corner took all the impact. NOTHING else can take that. Traxxas plastic is insane.

Nice vid thunder so let's break this down durability xmaxx wins but redcat verry impressive lots of potential looks redcat wins actually looks like a truck xmaxx not bad body staying on truck redcat wins body never comes off and holds truck together when broke in half xmaxx horrible must put body back on after every jump or get tired of it and run it without body or tape it on 🤣stock tires xmaxx horrible good for 1 bash then foam goes bad and needs aftermarket tires traxxas finally put better tires on it after ten years and raised the price $100 so thoughtful of them🤣 redcat wins tires still holding up after several bashes electronics redcat wins it comes with the esc most people end up putting in there xmaxx although esc seems to have improved price xmaxx $1100 redcat $860 overall value and overall winner redcat 🏆

At 3:35 ish it didn't break and I know for sure the xmaxx would have in stock form. I saw the rear hinge pin was backing out and it kept going. Gotta be a better buy, especially for the money. Hope they keep making them and the a/m starts pumping parts out.

Would’ve been nice to see a stock vs stock battle that x maxx is way more modded than the redcat. A stock x maxx definitely wouldn’t have lasted mine broke first crash due to the play-Doh spur gear. The n the plastic servo went shortly after so for the price I’d definitely go with the redcat!

Yup, xmaxx a beast, I truly believe that brace is what's makes it flex more without middle brace on inside body from tower to tower, I had the m2c I'm digging the one you have. Might try that brand instead of m2c.

I like the Vigilante more. Once Vitavon or somebody makes a motor mount for a big can motor that'll run big pinions it'll be on. The Vigilante drives like Arrma made a big plastic basher. It's stiff enough to handle decent rather than being all floppy and clumsy. I still prefer my big Arrma's over them both. They're plenty tough for normal bashing and still good at RC truck stuff. I still split shock towers, bend shocks and shafts on my Xmaxx as much as I do any other rigs. We won't discuss that patented self removing Xmaxx body. First hint of a crash the body ejects itself to avoid getting damaged, lol.

How can you say needs upgrades to make it xmaxx tough...but your xmaxx has its fair share of upgrades. Bone stock the xmaxx has some issues. 2 things I noticed... 1. The xmaxx didn't go ad high as the redcat. 2. The redact still has its body 😅. I'm giving the W to redcat this round for sure.

The Vigilante put up a great fight, but when the king of bashers entered the show it was pretty obvious who would win this round. That poor Solar Flare body though. First it had to jump through fireworks and now it was being jumped on by it's own truck. I wouldn't have done it any different though 🙂Awesome video. Can't wait to be back to join y'all.
