The only reason he ever 'looks' weak, is because the majority of his actual fights are against literally Gojo and Sukuna, the strongest of the cast. To be fair, I assume most people are anime-only so they didn’t see jogo prove himself to be stronger than dagon or see jogo be acknowledged as strong by sukuna even after he lost to sukuna. They also seem to forget that he was stated by another character to be roughly equal to 8 or 9 sukuna fingers which isn’t anything to scoff at. I can only assume that anime only people only remember jogo getting absolutely bodied by gojo with zero difficulty, so he comes off as weak. Geto wasn't weak, he got mad seeing amanai die after promising her safety & hearing gojo died. Anger consumed him and he rushed without thinking. Few reason why I think this matchup would not be an easy walk in the park for Yuta is ; 1. The zenin family was scared of him, and they knew for a fact that if he wanted he could've just walked over the entire family of multiple graded sorcerers and they couldn't even as much as scratch him. To make one of the big three sorcerer family tremble at the mere memory of him is a feat on itself. 2. Toji is very knowledgeable in the Curse techniques so he could use that immense knowledge to his advantage along with his heightened senses. 3. Being from Zenin family, he knows a lot about inherited techniques of other families, so he can outmatch the cursed speech. Cursed speech on itself is hard due to the need for immense skill to direct it at somebody. To do that to a person as fast as Toji would be next to impossible. 4. He disposed Geto and his Dragon curse without breaking a sweat. So It will be harder for Yuta to outmatch him like he did with Geto purely because its hard to keep up with his speed. 5. Toji also shredded a special grade disaster curse like Dagon with relative ease, more specifically speaking just with playful cloud. It is not something you can ignore. Like, the guy didn't even feel challenged during that fight. All this said i cannot say that he'll defeat Yuta, but it felt like his heavenly restriction was criminally underplayed in the analysis

1) Yuta is more than capable of wiping out the Zenin clan, just his mere presence in base had a much stronger version of Naoya absolutely shook. 2) this is complete head cannon we don’t know to what extent he knows about curse techniques. It’s unlikely he will be familiar with all of Yuta’s abilities. Even if he was by some miracle versed in every technique it’s not going to be enough to bridge the overwhelming gap between them. 3) this is basically the same point as (2) but again even if he knows what cursed speech is it doesn’t mean he can dodge or deal with it. Inumaki hit a prime adult Geto with it who scales wayyy higher than Toji, and Yuta hit Uro with it despite her knowing what it is and trying to block it. Toji’s speed is comparable to 3 finger Sukuna which is leagues below Geto and Uro. 4) Toji beat a 16 year old Geto and Yuta beat a 28 year old prime Geto with wayyyy more experience and curses whilst being in his first year. Big difference. 5) For top tiers, beating Dagon is not much of a feat, he was fatigued from fighting multiple powerful sorcerers and opening his domain. Again, Toji is compared to 3 finger Sukuna and Yuta gets compared to 15 finger Sukuna, and is about to fight either 20 finger Sukuna or Kenjaku, all of which 3 finger Sukuna would be no diffed by.

Also it's not just Naoya fearing him, but the entire clan. 2) Again he cannot hit them, Toji's heavenly restriction far outweighs anything Yuta can throw at him, his best bet is to use Domain. 3) JJK movie zero, right after using cursed speech Yuta confirms that it's hard to use as it scatters, couple that with a man whose speed cannot be kept up with, the cursed speech is never gonna land. And If you watch the fight, Inumaki caught Geto off-guard and still wasn't that effective on him as well. 4) The video pretty much states that Geto isn't any more stronger than he was during his high school. He has no reverse curse technique, a weak uzumaki ( Kenjaku uses it far better than him ) and most importantly no domain, only thing left is hand to hand combat as he could absorb any curse technique even during his highschool era. 5) Also it took less than ten seconds for Toji to understand the working of Kuchisake Onna's domain and he literally outpaced the sure hit of the domain, further showing his jujustu knowledge and speed. 6) It is far more than just a feat. For starters Dagon trapped them all in a domain with an endless shikigami swarm which affected everyone, none able to keep up with the swarm let alone seriously damage him inside it. Toji fought the swarm, killed loads of shikigami and violated Dagon inside his own domain, a place where a person's chance of winning is exponentially higher than normal as per cannon. 7) Naobito was introduced as the fastest Jujustu sorcerer after Gojo not Yuta. Even he couldn't keep up with the pace with Dagon's death swarm inside the domain, something Toji did with zero effort. Also dagon is a calamity curse much higher than normal special grade curses, their attacks on him only chips away a bit of cursed energy which he can heal. 8) This is an extension of the previous one but even Naobito couldn't keep track of Toji after the fight, basically he disappears with Megumi right in front of the second fastest sorcerer. Yuta has zero chance to even keep track of Toji. 9) His inventory is so good that just the inverted spear of heaven to basically negate most of Yuta's attack. Add that to his unparalleled speed, things won't look good for Yuta.

But it won't be Yuta no diffing Toji. He's called a sorcerer killer, he'd know his way around things, plus he has years of experience in fighting than both Maki and Yuta combined. Yuta would have to find a way to keep up with his speed as even the second fastest sorcerer was dumbfounded by his speed. He also needs to be aware of Toji's inventory, as it has some of the most OP weapons in the series. Yuta may have to capitalise on his lack of ability to heal and use multiple techniques one after other situationally. Maki said that not because she believes he can defeat Sukuna, but because he's the next best thing on their side. I believe that Gege didn't show him enough justice when it came to narrating his feats as the second strongest.

Not really, I think you dont understand, maki and toji arent inmune to curse techniques, they are inmune to techniques that target only curse energy users. Techniques like infinity, sky manipulation, ten shadows, blood manipulation and a large etc, will affect them cause they are techniques that dont work by targeting curse energy. Another example are domains. They arent inmune to domains is just that most domains are program to only target curse energy, for obvious reasons, but that doesnt mean you cant program it to target normal objects. For example sukuna did it in shibuya and gege has never stated that is something difficult to do, just something that can catch you off guard, just like naoya. Really the community just hyped them up cause they dont understand that most of the advantages of heavenly restriction are for the most part, circunstancial

It's not about Gojo being worn down or weaker. It's about bypassing limitless. Almost no one in the series can straight up bypass this technique to land a shot. The point in sending the fodder was to have him use his technique but Toji didn't't actually imagine they'd do any real damage. Also Toji doesn't fight without a purpose (the promise of a check) so he should most often have time to plan. Even so, I don't think he'd need much prep time for Yuta. Look at his 1 V. 1 against Geto.

One more thing to add, there actually is some evidence for Toji and Maki being able to heal to some extend thanks to their heavenly restrictions. In the fight against cursed Naoya Maki gets hurt pretty badly, to which she responded by telling Noritoshi to buy some time, to which he immediately tells her to stop bullshitting, you can't just heal by waiting, you don't even have cursed energy. Maki ofc yells at him to shut up and get going, and somehow gets better by waiting a bit. So there is some chance that the physically gifted restriction just let's you replenish your vitality with superhuman speed.

I don't quite agree, first Toji is not a "fighter" he is a hitman so Toji would not choose a face to face confrontation as a first option, instead and as we saw in the "hidden inventory arc" he would create a plan with any amount of information he can get from Yuta and even if there is not much information it is important to take into account something mentioned several times in the video, that Toji is "the invisible man" so if Toji would approach Yuta he would do it with a weapon without cursed energy, this approach would work because Yuta does NOT possess the "six eyes" which is the main reason why Gojo could feel Toji even when he was unarmed, and I doubt that Rika can also feel him for the same reason of not possessing cursed energy, another thing to note is that Toji was also rusty in his fight against Gojo which is the main reason why he failed to kill Gojo both with his first attack and with the inverted spear from heaven and Toji himself stresses that he has not been working as an assassin for a long time. People also seem to forget how resistant Toji is especially against cursed techniques, of course the strategy of covering Yuta's vision with other curses wouldn't work because of the "cursed speech" but that the technique works the same with Toji is another story and this can be seen with Maki in the destruction of the Zenin clan when she with pure brute force managed to get rid of the cursed technique of Ranta, also if Geto could hold without complications against Toge I do not see why Toji would have many problems, another point is that Toji together with Maki are one of the best if not the best in melee combat, also his ability of precognition seen thanks to Maki is important to take into account also because even if it is a 2 vs 1 does not make it easier, and if Toji's speed seemed alarming to Gojo I do not see how Yuta would be 'easier. Toji doesn´t have as much issue when it comes to injuries as some may think of, as long as is not losing an entire arm or something like that he has a very good regeneration ability or he must have it because of what it was seen from Maki against curse spirit Naoya. Toji is incredibly smart and it was seen when he formulated multiple valid strategies against Gojo's techniques in a matter of seconds, being defeated by not knowing the "purple" technique. I just like Toji.

Toji would definetly know about the marks of a curse speech user and abiities, with his reflexes, precognition, experience and speed seen in his fight with Gojo (also the fastest sorcerer) I can see him avoiding it, now if we go for a stretch Toji will do anything to win and taking in count how absurd Maki´s regeneration is (almost like Wolverine just laking in speed) he could destroy his ears and continue fighting, the rest of his senses are also greatly developed so I don't see him losing his ability to hear being an issue.

Yuta would decimate Toji. I think people don't understand what Toji or Make is. Maki and Toji do not have hax. They are pinnacle assasins. This is because you can't sense them. That's it though...Toji was not a match for a 16 year old Gojo. He had to make him not sleep for 3 days and put down his awareness...that is literally the point of the whole saga. Gojo is the pinnacle of awareness, physical capability and Hax...there is no 1 in the whole verse better than him in the verse...or even one single skill. Its stated that Toji fought with power on par with Gojo. He tired Gojo out to get a kill with no risk. Toji lost because he got hit with something he possessed no information on, purple. You also have to factor in his mental state would nerf his physical abilities. He does not jump off the air like in the Dagon fight, Toji fought more like Maki in the Zenin slaughter mini arc, more grounded.

Toji is way faster than yuta and they aren't just assassin types shown by Maki. Dragon Bone can attack the soul and we don't know if you could heal from that. We also don't know if curse speech can affect toji seeing how he overwrote the soul of someone because he lacked curse energy. If you put toji or Maki versus uro or ryu they get speed blitzed and killed with little dif. Whereas with yuta he was fighting toe to toe with them.

Gojo most definetly was special grade. Being a special grade means you are one of the few strongest mfs, and gojo was reffered to as the strongest many times throught the flashback. The only reason he was still grade 1 at the time was because of the higher ups.

Its hard to rank 3-10 as it might depend on matchups. Mahoraga has advantaged against CE with less power output such as Hakari, Higurama, Kashimo and Takaba but Jogo/Uro mighg have enough power to blast him. Also Toji and Maki is hard to match against anyone here

Mahoraga is strong but he’s probably being placed too high. His strength comes from his adaptation. If you count him as a standalone, he would just be a giant meatbag that can be one-shotted by many top tier guys, at least before adapting. Once he adapts it’s a different story.Given the various cursed techniques and the versatility cursed spirit manipulation has, i think kenjaku would be able to kill mahoraga before he got the chance to adapt .

I do agree yuta would win…I don’t agree that Toji would use the exact tactics (like flies) to fight Yuta…these were specifically selected to hide him, in a ‘cloud’ of cursed energy, from Gojo’s eyes. I think you vastly underestimate Tojo in this VS Battle. Using only his feats from his fight with Gojo doesn’t even come close to what he was actually capable of, given that the current Maki is only now comparable to him and she was able to completely decimate an entire Clan, one of The Big Three Clans, immediately after her power boost; A boost that didn’t put her on Toji’s level at the time. I think a more accurate analysis would be to take into account Current Maki and add like 10 years of even more training and experience to those feats, and then consider the fight between these two.

What people forgot is when Toji assasinated Gojo, he was dull. He had a family long ago and it's been years since he had a job. He was even softer when he had Megumi, named him "blessing". Meanwhile the old Toji showed so much aggression when reincarnated he shook everybody in the domain. You could never see Toji that ruthless ever and Shibuya arc is the best place for Gege to sneak that fan service in. Now I understand that Gojo was a teen, but mofo was a SPECIAL GRADE TEEN!! He was no joke, Toji had to plan 2-3 days in advance to ensure his success and still he was too dull all he did was awaken another monster for so many hundreds of years. To sum up the fight 1.) if toji lands a suprise attack like he did with gojo (after the blue maximum), then he wins 2.) if yuta manifests rika then he will use cursed speech to kill the curse spirit that holds toji’s tools and therefore toji will either have to run away or die 3.) they get into a prolonged fight(3-10 minutes), and considering yuta manifesting rika gives him an infinite supply of cursed energy, copied cursed techniques, and the one of the strongest cursed spirits (possibly as strong as mahoraga in strength since she doesn’t care about damage) toji would basically lose. 4.) Toji hides his curse spirit in his stomach and somehow fends off yuta with only the inverted spear of heaven or spirit splitter long enough for rika to disappear, and finishes off yuta with a suprise attack but that ones unlikely. Basically yuta mid-diffs toji if he survives the first 30 seconds of the fight

Toji knows as much as the zenin clan has on record and only knows about Gojo so much because he’s so influential. Also curse speech travels at the speed of sound at bare minimum. That doesn't apply to every curse technique. Second, the curse speech affect someone by sound to the ear, so it has nothing to do with object or the lack of curse energy, of you can hear it then it can affect you, that also means that it only affects living beings since they are the only one who can hear things. So yeah, it wasn't stated, it wasn't shown all livings creature will get affected.

We see maki in the last few chapters keep up with a knock around 15 finger sukuna who also gave her praise. The only thing nerfed about him was his output when using techniques so sukuna actually had his regular speed and maki easily kept up with it. We also see her dodging naoyas attacks after losing her mental nerf after sumo training. It’s pretty safe to say maki and by extension toji are much faster than yuta. We see yuta on par with yuji speed wise before yujis recent giant power up so in terms of physical stats Toji should be above him.

Idk might just be me, but not considering toji vs Dagon or Tojis vs megumi kinda underplays his ability to adapt on the fly, since he had no knowledge of who he was fighting beforehand when he was temporarily resurrected. I don't believe the cursed speech would catch him too off guard because he would atleast be familiar with that ability due to the clan lineage, as well as having a physical thing to cover his ears without using his hand, his cursed spirit that holds his tools. The bugs could still be affective if he utilized them while using his long range strategy before yuta can see him connect the inverted spear of heaven with the chain of a thousand miles &/or use it simultaneously. Spinning the spear in a fast circulation creating vibrations in the air with a nullifing cursed energy tool should be able to counteract cursed speech, which should be just sound waves(vibrations) mixed with cursed energy(thats my head cannon at play) but I def agree that Toji would have to close everything early to have a winning chance otherwise Yuta could def winning the longer it goes. I just don't see cursed speech dusting Toji off rip.........that would mean you think inumaki would wipe Toji lmao. His other weapon that Maki currently uses should be a good counter to Rika, but Yuta would have the long distance advantage, even tho Yuta is an upclose type fighter with access to abilities that are long range. I honestly would like to see them fight when we see more stored cursed tools & more stored cursed techniques from boths arsenals cuz they clearly have more that Gege saving for later. Toji often gets overestimated because people don't realize Gojo wasn't regarded as the strongest sorcerer before Gojo unlocked his reverse curse technique. Gojo had dulled his senses (making his 6 eyes much weaker), and was not what he was in the future. JJK 0 Gojo wipes Toji. The simple fact that once Gojo unlocks reverse cursed techniques he no diffs Toji shows that scaling Gojo and Toji anywhere near eachother is just stupid. Toji is super fast, but the best scale we have for him is either a teenage Gojo not being able to keep up (despite being able to keep up with the cursed spirit attached to Toji) or Megumi scaling his speed to a 3 finger Sukuna. Toji is very strong, but the gap between him & Gojo (or Sukuna) is massive. I actually think Toji's most notable feat is defeating Geto in a rather fair fight (Comparing that to how much set up he had for Gojo). Although, I still wouldn't give Toji the fight against JJK 0 Geto. By that point, Geto has gone from a strong but still comparable sorcerer to a sorcerer only 2nd to Gojo (any maybe some others). I think Toji scales way closer to characters like Hanami & Jogo. His win over Dagon was quite impressive, especially when he does it without his typical cursed weapons (ISOH for example). Idk who I'd give speed to in-between Jogo & Toji, as both were capable of speed blitzing Nanami, Maki & Naobito. I'd still give speed to Toji however, as we know Naobito didn't think he could beat Toji, and Naobito proved to be fast enough to catch Jogo off guard. Although we saw that Jogo didn't have much problem dealing with Naobito's speed. We do see Toji can overpower Dagon, although that was without Dagon's domain & with some outside help.

To be honest I expected more from Geto. Instead of being angry about Toji killing Riko and Gojo, he should’ve been cautious thinking he’s someone who made this detailed plan, killed Saturo Gojo and found Tengen’s hideout. Couple of things : 1. Toji is a master assassin, he wouldn't just stand in front of Yuta with no plan and "let" him get ready to fight, just like with Gojo, he would plan to sneak kill Yuta if possible without being sensed or just escape and try again under better conditions lol. (remember, he only stayed and fought Gojo round 2 against his normal self) 2. Combat instinct and experience difference is big, Yuta is still young in comparison imo. 3. Idk how Yuta can keep up with him when so far only six eyes can be aware/track of Toji, and even with the curse spirit inventory or curse tools to track him point, the overwhelming speed & reactions of Toji is a lot, plus again, he's tricky so he can use that to his advantage like with Gojo and bait Yuta a lot. 4. And very important, is the mentality, It was even recently mentioned before, for all the blessings he has, it was mentioned Yuta cannot reach the "honored one" levels yet because of his mentality when fighting non-curses, Toji would go for kills at any moment he gets, no matter what he fights. Not saying Yuta is weak, just that this fight is not that clean/easy to evaluate (but then again, I'm just a Toji fan lol)

I think cursed speech targets cursed energy to trigger a reaction. As it’s been showcased to effect people with cursed energy and cursed spirits. Like how domains are the same, the sure hit effect had to target cursed energy. As well as the barrier itself creates its own space, buildings and such are inconsequential to the barrier And are registered as foreign and utterly meaningless. Why are playing Tohi’s fighting style like it’s filled with flaws? Like I think he would lose to Yuta but he wouldn’t get washed. At All. Toji is probably unaffected by Cursed Speech due to his lack of Cursed Energy. From what we have already seen, all the automatic targeting techniques need a target with cursed energy to be used, for example Todo's Boogie Woogie, Sukuna's cleave or simply the barriers.

It doesn't make sense for them to be immune to Cursed Speech. It literally works by traveling Cursed Energy via sound. So if they hear it, it'll target them. But since Toji/Maki are resistant to Curses, it probably is less effective on them and based on power lvls.

I’m seeing people who are def fanboys of both, but this what I’ll say. Yuta best such stronger Geto than Toji beat. And I know it SEEMS like with prep, Toji could easily beat Yuta, but (and as much as I hate this saying), Yuta is built different. Gojo was a used to being strong that he couldn’t fathom Toji’s speed at first. Yuta would not behave the same way. He understands speed, he knows how much his speed means in a fight. I think he puts up a way better fight than Toji fans think he would. He has something that most other people don’t: he has the love of his life fighting by his side. He’s as badass as a character could be. Sure, I have bias, but I truly believe that he has been formed into a cold, calculated monster. He has nearly limitless cursed energy. He has the queen of curses. He’s ridiculously fast. He has love that reinforces him. The list keeps going, and I truly believe Yuta would be a match for Toji

Sure hit techniques made from a domain expansion don't work on Toji because he is not registered by the barrier. Regular attacks do work on Toji. Megumi's incomplete domain >>>>>>>>> Toji and Maki because its all regular attacks in an incomplete DE made up of a PHYSICAL barrier. Inumaki's cursed speech is just a regular technique with no sure hit targetting from a barrier so it will affect Toji, but all Toji (or anyone really) has to do is put in some ear plugs or cover up their ears. your way of looking at fights is too simple.

i think its a tough call. it all depends on what they know about each other. If Toji prepares for the fight the way he did Gojo, he could kill Yuta. That is if Yuta knows little to nothing bout him. If Yuta knows about him well (say Gojo gives him details bout their fight (assuming Toji wasn't killed)) then Yuta could come out on top. If both go in not knowing each other's abilities, it'll be very tough. Given that the anime is out and we now know Toji swallows the curse to hide the cursed spirit, a sneak attack on Yuta could be devastating. Also, remember how easily he dealt with the curse spirit (dagon i think) that maki, megumi and 2 other sorcerers were struggling with. (although i think Yuta could have dealt with it easily too). Yuta seems to be physically capable as well cos how he dealt with Geto

Combat speed, reaction speed, and travel speed. Naoya can travel at mach 3 and slam into people. Maki can casually evade him after awakening. She tried to deflect or tank the ram the first time but did not know Naoya amped up to mach 3 until he hit. So Maki, also Toji, while awaken has enough strength to deflect mach 3 Naoya and to dodge without even looking with superior sensing ability. The black flash is not a reaction feat, its a curse energy manipulation chance that occurs at random times of great focus. You cannot do a black flash at will.

@@GrandWelf No, Naruto and One Piece characters cannot run at Light speed. They do short burst dashes for combat in their series, otherwise it would not take long to go from nation to nation. Yet it can take a few days to travel in Naruto. Curse Naoya can travel around at Mach 3, that is his travel speed and its consistent. He slams his body's full mass into Maki the first time and she tanked it. Then would fully heal in just 5 minutes. After Maki's awakening form the sumo match, she was no longer injured. Maki was stronger, faster, and had sensor ability so good that dodging attacks while blind would be easy. Edit-> Also Toji(while mentally nerf and rusty) is still faster than Naobito(fastest sorcerer) and Naobito is faster than Jogo when he has two arms. This means Maki and Toji are faster than both Yuki and Kenjaku(since they are relative to each other) Maki with her incomplete twin Heavenly Restriction with peak Grade 2 or low Grade 1 strength, can grab a surprise bullet fired at the last moment. So they have really fast reaction times. Travel speed is not reaction and combat speed.
