I think one reason for the confusion is that this video did not explain: 1. You can use either DTD -or- XSD files to define the structure. You don't need both. 2. DTD was older simpler specification. XSD is newer more feature rich specification. Most people now use XSD, but good to be aware of legacy DTD as well.

While you have explained how to use different feature clearly, it only addresses "how to" part and that too with limited/basic information. It would have been more helpful if you had explained concepts like namespace and how it binds different things together. Also, when creating xsd file, IDE adds certain namespaces directly. What they are and how one can change them. So either there should be more videos to go further down deep in the subject or mention where one can go to get more knowledge. Current videos are very basic in nature and, I think, only useful for understanding not for practical use in work.
