Phil doesn't understand that being a variety streamer means more so than ever you need to be entertaining to have audience overlap and retention for different games. On paper BG3 is the current easiest game to farm an audience with every different way you can play the game in my opinion

Great time to start month recaps imo because (correct me if I'm wrong as when it comes to Phil I'll follow his mess for about a year then forget he exists for 2 years then the cycle repeats) December seemed to be one of his worst months ever. He's always been terrible but now he's very aggressive and clearly depressed then on top of that people are donating less because they're figuring out that their money is going to WWE Champions. A couple days ago when his "podcast" (imo him rambling incoherently in his office isn't a podcast) didn't get any superchats you could see him die more inside. He was like desperately looking at the screen trying to find donations that weren't there and weren't going to come. I think he's nearing rock bottom.

Mo Mo O'Brien's "How I Got Immersed in Baldur's Gate 3" video segment about how many ways there are to defeat the Goblin Camp quest is the best explanation of what makes BG3 so great and is enough to convince the most hardened skeptic to give it a try. I'd suggest DSP watch it, but it wouldn't do any good. Probably his most delusional rant yet...

@@haydenhilton mainly the ending where there is a carnivorous being that has been basically fattening up all the islands characters for a big feast. I’ve only seen bits of the ending and I think a lot depends on how you’ve been playing but it seems a lot of the characters you’ve been getting to know can end up dead. Plus there’s the whole catching bug things and adding them on to characters bodies like some body horror idea. It looks cutesy enough but the story elements aren’t kids game material
