It's a challenge quest, you don't need to beat it. To get Nagao you just need to beat main story of event. It's not hard, you can do this. Also you can use supporters, so it's not a problem. Challenge quests are mostly high lvl content, that not everyone can beat(well, technically everyone can beat it, but it depends on your servants, and might take ages sometimes)

I presume you mean the hydra that heals itself with each attack it makes. I don't know if you found a solution yet, but basically the problem is that you have to either outdamage the amount of health it gains each turn or stun it into oblivion. Medusa is recommended because her cooldown reduction grants her more stunned rounds off of her skill. If you have the support servants for it, you could just build a team around her as the DPS. You could also just level Kagetora and equip her with the shop craft essence. It plus her event damage bonus makes her hit pretty hard even without class advantage. Mash could also help keep your team alive if your problem is that you are dying too fast. I don't know what servants you have leveled and available to you so I just went with the ones anyone playing this event can get.

Yea, once you beat the main story, you keep her forever. You can also farm her np lvls afterwards too, to max her out to np5.
