tbh I think the main issue abt this series is the fact that even though years had passed since the last instalment of TATBILB, kitty's personality made no improvement and she didn't mature at all, which is pretty unrealistic cause there is supposed to be a maturity difference between a 12 and 16 year old. the reason why she wasn't as irritating in TATBILB is because her personality was fit for her age, but seeing as how they made a 16 year old behave like this is genuinely so embarrassing. plus there's also no special aspect about her as a character, her whole personality revolves around her mother which is exactly what happened with lara jean, but lara jean was more tolerable because she actually had character development and was overall a more relatable character, whereas kitty's personality has stayed the same throughout everything and she's more so cringy instead of relatable. it's honestly a shame and humiliating at the same time- how they didn't write her well at all 💀💀

Like actually. She would meddle ands tick her nose into people's businesses without their permission but get mad when she gets called out. Kitty does so manny things but the show paints her as a victim whos just naive. She doesn't mature at all and there is no arch. The only arch is finding out more about her mom and being on boyfriend #5. Also, the way this show justifies cheating is crazy. Kitty and Yuri both have to put on the blame but then all of the sudden it seems like it was just Yuri who cheated. Also, how is Yuri crazy for not wanting to hang out with the girl she cheated with? That makes no sense. I feel like whoever disagrees with Kitty is made out to instantly be the villain. The plot just bends around Kitty. Q's moral was not cheating, thats why he turned in his ex who cheated to avoid his homophobic family but then when Kitty literally cheats with a girl, he's defending her? It's ridiculous. Kitty felt like a self insert on Wattpad and I'm sure a 13 year old could write a better story than this.
