As a Hispanic-American, it's so dope to see Blue Beetle getting made. There are very few movies in mainstream Hollywood in which the main character is Hispanic, so for a superhero movie movie to come out where the lead is Hispanic is so exciting. I wasn't too familiar with Blue Beetle before the second season of young justice, but fell in love with the character, and I think Xolo is a perfect casting for the role.

I met Xolo at the Cobra Kai season 5 premier in Los Angeles last month and he was such a down to earth and cool guy, like most of the cast, really. He was signing autographs, taking selfies with fans, etc. It comes from above, and I think the producers of Cobra Kai (Hurwitz, Heald and Schlossberg) have instilled that onto the younger cast.

Xolo basically remade Cobra Kai, so he deserves to get back his original Cobra Kai Gui, he worked for it! He deserves Keanu like abundance and respect for what he chooses to take a role for in his future. Great role model for the community. Cobra Kai, NEVER DIES!

Yeah, their relationship as student/sensei or son/father figure is a key part of show especially since they better each other. Mr. Miyagi and Daniel were great, but Daniel was the only one learning from the relationship and Miyagi pretty much stayed the same but at least benefited from having a son figure in his life since his wife and child passed. With Johnny and Miguel it’s different since learn from each other.

The Cobra Kai production has been fantastic in it's story-telling, professionalism, and keeping with the same feel and style of the original show. Xolo is right, it is pretty amazing how they are able to get original cast to reprise their roles. Miguel's character has really developed and this season he's able to explore his own past. Xolo is a fantastic actor and it's been so much fun watching him.
