Ive been using this pedal lately with a Schecter USA PT and a Mesa California Tweed.....not one gig goes by without someone commenting on what a good guitar sound Im getting. The RC is profession and a great tool live. I use it to boost my amp, a Wampler Tumnus, etc. Sounds great!

I've had the pedal for months and didn't even know there was a gain 2 control. The blue light is also a gain knob!?

Sounds extra mid rangey to me.... Almost telephone nasally. Dude can play, and I like that he's perfectly in tune when he chicken picks then hits that barr'd A.......seems like a well setup strat.

From another one of his recent interviews, I believe all his strats have Seymour Duncan stacked humbuckers in them, so that might have some effect on the midrange overall?

that "bypass" label is just wrong!!!

Hi l3ertz, I know what you mean. On one hand, a button labeled BYPASS should bypass when it's lit. On the other hand, a pedal should be "On" when it's lit. Most companies do it like Xotic, where a lit BYPASS button means the effect is "On". The few times a company has made the lit BYPASS button actually mean it's in bypass mode has always made for a confusing pedal. Thanks for watching!
