Comparisons are COMPLETELY POINTLESS when burying the actual tone under effects. Clean or very lightly overdriven are the only way to make distinguishable comparisons among strat style guitars.

Xotic and fender. As much as the playability on suhr’s are amazing, they just don’t sound as good as the price you pay. I’m generalising here but the tone just seems flat.

Suhr has no excuses being that pathetic for their asking price. PRS Xotic Fender. (a bit too sharp for my taste. I like the chunkiness the PRS still have with the palm mutes but also maintaining that classic strat sweet sound

Xotic without question. They all sounded good but if I had my choice, it would be Xotic, In all fairness, I am hopefully getting my XTC1 soon.

Can’t lie the they all sounded great… but the 57’ Strat was a cut above the rest. It just sounded more classic. I recommend ppl close their eyes for the listening test. Excellent playing BTW.

Xotic is a new brand to me, and it has a very good tone and it pricy too no wonder. And PRS just like his studio tone

They all sound good but Inlike the Xotic and PRS the best here. Followed by the Fender. I love Suhr's pickups but I was surprised not like like it as much as rhe others in this

But almost all of these companies are using it as a base, while making a better guitar. I'd take any of the other three over the Fender in a second. Beyond the quality being better, the customer service is going to be INFINITELY better. Fender is not the Fender from 60 years ago.

Suhr, more complex in the neck position. Nothing beats the FStrat bridge pickup tho...

This is not really fair since The distortion cuts off the bass. But for this type of music - if you like it - they sound certainly within any change you could easily make with the amplifier, pedal or other gear.
