Thank you for taking the time to post this…and thanks for keeping after them to fix n update! New to the Deus but was an easy transition from the NOX. Haven’t picked up the NOX since I rec’d the D2.

Ditto, july Deus 2 user, and like the v6 software… bcuz he says ‘improved ground balance at the beach.’ Hmmm 🤔. So i might have to email Do on what this means.. does it mean, when u hold down the ground balance button/pin-point button, it gets quiet better? Bcuz it struggles, or, does this mean somehow its automatically better stability in beach-sensitive-mode and more quiet…? Who knows. I noticed, the groundbalance/pinpoint button does nothing for u in the wet sand as far as making it more quiet/less falsings, and i didnt want to lose depth, so ill for safety reasons use the older software that came with the Deus 2 , fore i tested out making the REACTIVITY from 1 to 1.5, and the depth on a deep hard target was the same noises, SO GOOD, bcuz it made it more quiet… and i use it on 99sensitivity YEPall THEway up… its so deep, its great, i can tell its doing several inches deeper than my Nox, more💍 👑 for me. So one thing i am worried about with the new software uodate is, is that on the beach, it automatically did something to the ground balance where it just made it more stable, so u lose a little depth in the wet tidal zone sand… hmmm, only xp may know. Unless THIS GUY WITH THIS CHANNEL KNOWS???? Good vid Im just scared to download the new software bcuz when i hear improved ground balance, i hear DEPTH LOST, and its a game of inches out here folks.

I love how professional your tutorials are, just the little things like the perfectly centralised placement of the remote. Brilliant thumbnails and really well made videos. I think your channel is heading in a great direction

Ah, the thumbnails, thanks. The rest of it, rushed with a camera phone at the last minute with my scraggly face after little sleep 😂

Unfortunately still lots of issues. Was on a organised dig last weekend and spoke to 5 deus 2 users. And sadly all are not happy with there machines. Really hope they resolve it.

Trying 0.7 on my favourite beach - disaster! Ground balance and pinpointing huge issue! Then I downloaded 0.6 - very big difference and on the exactly same place two gold rings ! Yesterday getting ready for weekend trying to charge my remote - nothing on screen , Trying to switch it on - no results - remote dead ! Have no idea what problem is - it should be some kind of hard reset ? 🤔

There seems to be a known issue for some people who update to 0.7, then rollback to 0.6. you need to contact your dealer/distributor

No option for reset or roll down on the versions. Also it erase my custom programs which sucks a lot. And the headphones could update via remote since they're already paired. I've been using Deus2 for four month and still not quite happy with it. With D1 it took me 6 month before I started to like it so I will keep on learning. It is a different animal to tame. LOL.

Shame you've had some issues, but as you know from having the D1, custom programs have always been wiped with updates. I think I'm in your camp. It's not there yet and I didn't expect to be. The one thing XP do well is listen to feedback in the detecting community and tweak their offering. If they didn't, we wouldn't be on v5.2 with the D1. I know they'll get there.

Try using the machine in the modern trash..... Yes V7 still cant compete with the V5 ..... Its a big shame
@unearthers2 жыл бұрын
I get why they don't, but it's such a shame you can't reflash older versions. As I understand it however, at least with this version you can step back to v0.06 if you wish.

@@unearthers not really tried it already... ( To get back to the version before the big numbers)

@@valiantgold442 you'll see I've replied to you in the FB group, but I've been informed you can roll back to the Jan v6.1 update now from v7.
