I like this feature but I also think it could bring in high tones for iron if too nigh of settings are used. So, practice with it and see how well it works on higher settings. I think different ground may require practice to know how to set it up. Practice, practice, practice.

Yep! I tried it out the other day and me learning the new update, I made it sound to good. At first I was excited until I started digging nails lol. You definitely have to practice and tune accordingly.

I would think audiobfilter of 0 is probably best for old home sites and cellar holes? Would you turn audio filter up a bit, say 2 if you were on lots of old iron trash and reactivity of 4. Elongate the tone for a reactivity of 4 type thing ?

Again you are not going to be implementing this as much in a site with iron or lots of modern trash . This feature shines on the beach and more open ground. You could use it in a polluted site but you will have to experiment with what works best. I would imagine a lower setting of 1 or 2 might work. 👍 Thanks for the comment 😊

So me and my buddy been talkin about this filter question I have does it lose any death when you add more filter have anybody tested if you will lose any depth I was always figuring if you put more filters on something you lose more deaths this true or not in this case then we certainly appreciate everything on the beach

All it is doing is enhancing the audio which should translate into more depth. It also cleans up the sound of good targets at depth. Couple that with the audio response and using the Dive program and a slower reactivity and swing speed and you have a super deep machine on the beach. Go try it and let me know how it does for you. I got some settings for the beach I'm going to share with you personally when I fine tune it but right now me and my buddy are crushing it and you're going to be shocked when you hear this settings

I got everything set with the update working my ws6 headphones won’t turn off after I power down never had that problem turns on ok

Yeah I did and paired them ok it’s strange never had this when updating buddy just texted me got a 1858 seated dime just now a merc and 1935 Washington in woods behind where I’m working lol

Mark, see if the feature is turned on in the settings to turn it off automatically. The update may have turned it off.

Go to settings, pairing, headphones, arrow down to manual or auto feature. Make sure it is on auto to cut it off automatically.

What would be the disadvantage of turning it up to 5?

Everything would sound louder. Again really good when you are hunting deeper targets to help you clean up audio and hear them better. Mainly in open ground and beach

It's good if you're on a beach with no other targets or low mineral areas. You turn that up in iron or trash you're going to have a lot of trouble! Your unmasking in trash and iron will be greatly Impeaded. A video of its pros and cons would have been better.
