The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has been better known as "the PlayStation Phone" through most of its development due to the fact that it will indeed play Sony games. This is the first PlayStation certified phone, but is it going to be able to live up to the expectations everyone has for it?

watching this on my xperia play..had mine for 2 years now..buying a Samsung s4 in a week...wat a ride we v had me n the X play..made loads of memories...never broke..I guess that has to do with how u treat ur phone...

Playing NES, SNES, PS1, Genesis games is AWESOME on this bad boy! It takes a little bit of keymapping, but it's done in like 1-2 minutes!

I micro USB is meant for the wall charger, the other is for the car charger. Not that they're hard to come by anyway, but it was nice of them.

still in early stages but wipeout works fine, moster hunter is slightly slow but still works and there constantly updating it

@DevinShoe other than the processor, it only has 400MB flash when most phones now have 8GB, it has the exact same TFT LCD screen, 5MP camera, and only 1500 mAh battery(Droid(1.5yrs old now) has 1390 but I've seen 1900 stock batteries)

Thanks for this! I went to exchange my Xperia yesterday and the Verizon associate informed me I couldn't because it has been in water evidenced by a missing red dot on the top of the battery. My phone has NEVER been exposed to water, and thanks to this video, I nabbed a screenshot of the top of the battery with a WHITE sticker on the top with NO red dot. So there's proof. Going back today, wish me luck.

well here is an example you could player a first person shooter game on your phone maybe lets say COD or Battlefield and you have 2 choices to either play the game on your iphone or your xperia phone right? so me as a person or a gamer it doesn't matter either way i would choose the xperia because it has physical controls. could you see my point now? @JoshJW11 They knocked the date back to supposedly September, and some of the new features might be a new design, iOS 5 which change a few things messaging system, the multitasking works etc. Its up to you if you are really into gaming go with the Xperia if you like, its just not for me.
