If I’m following BO6 right I’m pretty sure ball the story lines revolve around the SAME premise just under a different name. So Chaos, Prima, Aether all of those storylines continue if I’m keeping up with the story correctly in six but I haven’t finished Citadels yet

Rave was awesome. I liked the visuals on the map. I really enjoyed infinite warfare zombies. Didn’t care too much for the last map tbh but overall it was a fun game and different in a good way.

I love this list, I personally would put citadelle just above DOTN because of the replayability the swords add, But other than that, amazing list. I also really love that you think more positively on maps even if they are flawed, I love how respectful you are to die rise because i think its so over hated, like its not great but its no where near as bad as ppl say it is. And i really love how high you put dead of the night, such an amazing map, and it really never deserved the hate that it got at launch, bo4 as a whole was way over hated. The fog is actually not against you in the darkest shore, in fact for as long as you do not fire a single bullet not a single zombie will go after you, so if you can take care of the Meistermeuchlers without shooting which is possible with the wonder weapon and a specific setup btw, no zombies will chase you

People never talk about the layout of der eisendrache. It’s so compact and there’s like 5 ways to get back to spawn, there’s the 115 well from the undercroft to the courtyard, the jump pads, and it’s just perfect to navigate so doing the Easter egg isn’t tedious from running back and forth. Also as you open up the map youre Filling up dragon heads, turning on jump pads, collecting shield parts, teleporting pack a punch pieces, turning on anti gravity, and getting the ragnaroks. Your always busy and if you get good you can have everything and an upgraded bow by round twelve.

@@Fr0styPopsiclesso being that the ether storyline has “remnant memories of code pieces of the Richthofen storyline. It is completely possible that we go back to a near place at origins it was already confirmed to have been in France so it is not nine and I highly doubt it will be origins due to the 335 story essentially ending. What I theorize is being that the ether storyline has these older remnant memories, this “dig site 64” maybe an area closer to origins but of something completely new and different.

I love how my top 3 ee songs are from DLC 1 maps. At #3 is from the new map that just came out on bo6 called slave. #2 is Dead Again from DE. #1 is from Ascension. All 3 of those songs are absolute bangers

The fact Die Rise came out after as DLC 1 after Transit might be a big reason it's hated so much. Transit's movement system with the bus annoyed lots of players, but at least you could move around the map anyways. Then Die Rise elevators introduced the same problem but sometimes no other way to go anywhere. Both of those maps had the same problem fundamentally.

While I don’t hate Die Rise it’s definitely not top 2. Bad practice of vertical play such as perks and pack continuously moving through elevators while looping hordes between two buildings is just not an interesting experience. I like the verticality and the attempt the actual execution just wasn’t ideal, and don’t let me forget whose who hands down one of the worst perks every created, so bad even that I’m pretty sure it’s the only perk in COD history to never comeback or get reimplemented into an actual game mechanic.

My only gripe with dead of night is the nosferatu's/crimsons are faster than the player so it encourages camping...easter egg wise it has a ton of depth overall a solid map.

13:24 it also didnt help that you were basically unkillable in cold war which added to the overall 'artificial blandness' that whole game kinda radiated, at points id find it actually difficult to die, you can reach round 100 flawlessly with no deaths if you have everything maxed out, not even round 40+ super sprinters gave me a challenge which is why id rank cold war lower than it is in most tier lists (but thats just me)

A lot of people are saying good things about them because they are very simple and people tend to prefer that. But I prefer when Easter Eggs are a bit more complex and actually a challenge that requires some time. The Bartender EE is decent fun. The Maya cutscene thing was also really cool but not really worth doing because the reward isn't so great. But it was very cool first time I did it. I just miss the Side EEs from games like BO3, IW, and BO4 where you'd have a whole quest to unlock a special weapon or a special melee weapon (other than just the main Wonder Weapon)

I'm a big Easter Egg person. Having a quest to do on the map is going to give it an advantage over a map that doesn't for me. Personally my list goes: Terra Maledicta (literally even worse than Der Anfang, at least DA was tight and compact, making objectives go by faster) Outbreak (AW) (Not much to say really, It's imo a very very mid map for a very very mid game) Die Rise (definitely underrated, and honestly black ops 2 wouldn't be the same without it) Zombie Verrückt (It's just simply iconic, and fun to play on for a simple challenge) Firebase Z (okay it's been a bit since I've replaced this so imma just put it here for the time being. Always actually preferred it over Die Maschine though) The Darkest Shore (WW2 is a top 3 zombies mode for me, and one big reason is HORROR. And while The Darkest Shore isn't the best map, it is one of the scariest and most atmospheric and I love it for that. Also the R.I.Psaw is VERY fun to use) Ascension (The first map to innovate upon Der Riese, and while I do think it's a tad easy, there's something to be said about what this map did for the entire series) Rave in the Redwoods (I've always loved Rave a tad more than Spaceland, and I don't know what it is about it. I think it's because in a way it takes what Spaceland did, but gives it a new visual identity, with new mechanics like the charm system, but with wonder weapons that are easier to access and dare I say more fun) Der Eisendrache (hot take, this is NOT the best zombies map of all time. Heck while I'd say it's a top 20, it's not Top 10 for me. Though put your pitchforks down, This map is still VERY well designed, and at one point was one of my favorites, but I've just learned more maps since then and loved them all even more) Citadelle Des Morts (an easy addition to my top 10 maps, this map singlehandedly re-sparked my interest in new zombies maps going forward, and the Dark Aether storyline. The swords are fun, the incantations are so creative, I've ALWAYS wanted straight up magic spells in zombies. Plus with how smoove the engine is, and how the map compliments the mechanics of bo6, it's near perfect.) But, there can only be one king Dead of the Night (this isn't just my favorite DLC 1 map... It's my favorite map of all time. And it's funny because for the longest time, I never really even played it at all, I was too overwhelmed to try, however, every time I hopped on it, trying to learn more about it, I became enamoured with EVERYTHING. I love the wonder weapon, I love the side Easter eggs, the map is absolutely stunning in its atmosphere, the characters are actually not that bad for the most part, and to top it all off the gameplay progression as you set up and go through the rounds is some of the best the entire series has. It's a masterpiece, and it needs to be shown more love, TODAY!)

My rankings for maps always change overtime as I replay them. Perhaps in the full map ranking I do later down the line, you'll end up seeing Rave higher.
