Hello and welcome to Ghost Theory, in this episode we enter a mansion in a forest that at first glance you would think is still being lived in. But with the knowledge that it has been abandoned since 2018 and had been explored by a few over those years we decided to push on and enter. What we found inside was an incredible display of antique filled rooms with a dark feeling that caused us both to feel nothing but anxiety.

I felt your anxiety in the mansion. Part of it was the layout, with small, narrow rooms here and there. Part of it was that the place was still populated with belongings. The light inside made it creepier. But the man’s sudden appearance was the kicker for me! Thanks for exploring it.

@@GhostTheorybest thing to do is get more motion sensors with sounds, set them at the tops and bottom of stairs and other areas to give you a proximity warning of people, the loud sounds will scare off most people from causing trouble because they want to be silent

The thief that caught you in there (yes, thief, not explorer) was the one responsible for all the noises you heard in the beginning. The noises stopped when he left. He was waiting for you to leave so he could come back to take the things he wanted.

I know you boys are hardened Urbex experts by now, but always be weary when you can see lights on inside a property. I recently discovered a location a few villages away from where I stay, and its exterior would have you believe it was an Urbex goldmine. I went back the next morning and a lamp was on downstairs. Turns out somebody still lives there, and being caught climbing in a window would have been an extremely uncomfortable outcome. I went with my gut and stayed away. Anyway, keep up the solid work and content. You guys are one of only a couple of reasons why I still use KZbin 💚👍

I’m not sure about where you are at, but it is common in the USA and Canada if the person whom owns the house doesn’t have a will, their estate stays vacant until the system releases it, which can take years. Not even relatives or next of kin can enter and or remove anything from the estate if their names are not on title. It’s more common than you think.

I absolutely love this house/mansion!!! It did have a creepy vibe but I think that's only because it's abandoned and sitting in the middle of nowhere, yet has tons of belongings and power still on! Those loud noises at the beginning sounded like more than just a door slamming shut! It sounded like someone was dragging heavy furniture across the floor. I really hope that guy who popped in wasn't a thief. It's sad enough seeing all of the belongings from a family who lived there, left behind, but to have someone stealing their valuables would make it so much worse. It's a shame to see such a gorgeous building, in pretty good shape, not being used. So many people without a roof over their heads and this place and so many others just sit, unoccupied. Mind blowing!! Thanks for having the courage to withstand such an unnerving night in that place, just for us!! Love, Cat 💋

Can I just say I really love the simple, effective, and sometimes funny editing in these. You both seem so earnest and overall make great investigators! You also show the fear of real life consequences to abandoned exploration, and that is often way scarier than ghosts lbfr

I've watched the part of when that guy enters the bedroom many times now & I recognise this guy from somewhere, youtube or wherever I'm not sure but hes definitely familiar as is his voice. If you listen when you ask if he's an Explorer he replies with a double negative "it's not a no" so basically he is, God I wish I could remember where I've seen him before.
