The Ancient Ram Inn needs no introduction, this infamously haunted building has been on the list for a while now so after 1 year of Ghost Theory we thought it was about time to check it out. We went into this investigation with our skeptical minds so we weren't being influenced or scared off by activity claimed by other investigators.

I've never had a strong feeling about this place. I think you were really on point in saying that the entire house has been set up to psychologically prime people into believing they're sensing and hearing things that aren't paranormal at all. Not finding activity proves you're genuine. I've said it before, I've been working with the paranormal for about 30 or better years. Spirits don't show up just because you want them to. I've been to a few places that were suppose to be really haunted but I never got so much as a tap or even a creak of the building settling. The difference between myself and you is that I have had many encounters therefore I know they are real. This is something you've probably not really had the opportunity to experience. That cold feeling you experienced however is something that you can feel right down to the bones isn't it

Grew up about 20 miles south of here. It's Gloucestershire's 'Borley Rectory' equivalent along with Woodchester Mansion. Whenever you hear of Ghost stories of Gloucestershire, its always these two. Michael Wood is also haunted, its on the M5 behind Michael Wood Services. Mass burial for the soldiers that fought and died in the Battle of Nibley Green, also haunted.

Could it be that with the absence of loud noises from the cars that would normally be there the residents of the house are actually at peace a bit and taking advantage of the long hoped for Quiet? Of course that is if they even hear or see the sounds outside of whatever plain and boundaries of it that they are “in”. It’s so difficult to talk about because of the multitudes of different variables and possibilities that it’s hard to stick to (or even have) just one theory to support. I respect the fact you've booked this place for a good session but, to be honest, the owner has literally added too many new things to the place. If you was to look at it 4 years ai, there was a ton of activity with less clutter. I honestly think bringing in more crap, dolls etc, it's made the place less active. The last 2 years the amount of activity has probably dropped more than 75%. The reason I say this, I've seen the same people return if nont once a year, but 2 and 3x a year, with or without others tagging along. Then you have those who appear once and their other videos they use the same bogus bologna to entertain their followers. I've since stopped following that person as each video was just in a different place with the same sounds, the same actions and words. Boring! An to think he travels all over the world thanks to his patrons..smh. Then we have you guys who try so hard and even take the time to debunk..an that's why I respect your booking, but the owner should actually remove 90% of the objects they've put in. There wasn't a need for all the extra items 4 and 5yrs ago and they just keep adding more and more. They need to go back to the original pieces, remove all the extra seating and tables as it's just to me what I call a big cluster-fuck. I've watched people fall, trip so forth an do on. Open areas for spirits to move freely about as well as people like yourselves. Maybe adding shite brings in more people, more money. But with all do respect, 8 people I know of that's passed through there at the same time, too crowded and had not even 1 bit of action. Just my opinion on the whole deal. xx

I agree, I went when John was alive and sat and had a conversation with him. He was a very eccentric person and only lived in the one room downstairs. He had nothing to do with his daughter but when he died and she got hold of it and has really made it touristy it’s lost it’s original state and uniqueness. Same with Bodmin Jail. I’ve had paranormal experiences in both Ram Inn and Bodmin Jail but that was many years ago now.

Hi, first I like your channel. I got a question, app's like ghost tube and spirit radio's always answer in English. I live in the Netherlands and when I ask a question in Dutch why would an old ghost answer me in English also why do spirit radio app's sweeping the radio stations in the Netherlands only receive English /American radio stations and give English answers? Luv u guys. But they should have talked to the entities about the man who used to live there for decades ( paul, i think ). And that he always said that he was raped many nights by the Incubus and Succubus. And if they miss him, did they get to talk to him in the spirit realm when he died a few years back. There is a big framed photo of him on the wall. And talk about the lay lines as the Inn is built on one. Also about the holes in the ground with the grate over it, that has teddy's and flowers on it as thats where they found numerous babies bones from sacrifices. I guarantee you they will get a response. And even ask if Paul is there himself, he loved that house and lived there for decades.
