I like the blue gown -- there is a bit of starch in those sleeves, or to tuck in some tulle for a full puffy sleeve. And I think it is good on you -- very dramatic. The illusion of the big sleeves makes your belly and hips look smaller. The purple dress ...perhaps cocktail party or a dress for the opera -- but no not a dancing dress. The white and gold -- for a much bigger woman -- which is fab but, not for lovey you. The green semi-formal has a very 40's fare to it and would be great for showing off a piece of statement jewelry. Again a good cocktail dress or afternoon wedding. I just can't comment on the next three --- the black and silver, the striped white and black, and the yellow --- but The shimmery bronze gold is a good one. I'd put in shoulder pads to change the slope of the shoulders, which cinches the waist and that's what we apple shapes prefer. And you nailed it --- that's a Gertrude dress, or perhaps I protest too much? The sari dress is a cute idea but ... And the very best part of this haul was your daughter's help. What love! Thanks

I bought the tulle tiered skirts in black and also in coral. The skirts are beautiful. They are very dramatic with 3 layers and cost $69 each I think. I'm not used to paying that much. But I like the skirts....

These dresses..hmmm. They give me the feeling of being designed by fashion students. I can see where they were going with their ideas, but they just fell a bit short for the most part. They just fit a bit wonky and of course the sizing is way off. I do agree that the green dress is the best of the bunch, but I don’t think i would particularly call it a formal dress. For the black and white striped dress, it was lovely, but I am not happy with the placing of the white stripe at the bust. It should have had another black stripe as it accentuates the busy area a lot. Again I think it’s a lovely daytime formal type of dress. Lol just my very long winded opinion 😂😂😂. It doesn’t matter about the dresses though because you, Marlene, are lovely and you can make any dress shine ✨

When one company copies another companies outfit they must LEAGALLY have 7 differences to the garment. So when you find a website where the heads are cut off the models it is because they did not pay those models.

Oh I figured about the models but didn’t know they could get away with a copy with 7 differences. What I don’t get is why they don’t just take some model pics of their own in the actual dresses. That way there would be no problem and customers knew what to expect.
