what was the tension reading?

We do not use a newton meter, instead we go by the pounds of pressure that we apply to the stretcher. 75 psi on the long side and 35 on the short side is what we like to see. Optiumal for printing with the thermal screens is 15 Newtons (as opposed to conventional at 32-35). The key is that ALL the frames need to be the same so you do not distort the image when you print.

What material you use on tensioning frame, the black color frame

In this video we are using our Riso 120 QS Mesh. It has mesh on one side and a PET coating laminated to the other side.It is used for Thermal Screen making with our QS200 and QS2536.

3:04 What tool you use to bond the screen to the frame?
@Xpresscreen3 жыл бұрын
It is called a heat iron and is commonly used in seaming carpet. The frames first need a coat of specific glue (and let it cure). Then the heat iron serves 3 purposes. 1) It has to melt the PET coating to so just the mesh is left. 2) It makes the glue pliable. 3) The pressure that is applied to the heat iron pushes the mesh down into the glue.

You can also use hot glue . Put down a layer around the perimeter of the square with that same paper with hot glue . And also role it down . Then stretch the screen. Once the screen is stretched use the iron to heat up around the screen the hot glue will go penetrate the second layer that is stretched and it will hold. That just a easy cheap way to start if you you are on a budget
