its awesome how herbert tells us exactly the same then the video already did before. but with more expert credibility.

in the video you inject the cubes with liquid, the XPS holds it all, where it looks like the EPS sheds it

Eps is half the price. Dont get it wet.

Trying to decide what kind of panel I want to get, to add to the front of my Massive bow/ spear target. It will also be attached to the already existing memory foam base. I was thinking 2 inch EPS insulation is the way to go. But now I hear about the water issues idk. I might enclose it all anyways though..

Mostly concerned about having something that will have enough give to capture an arrow or spear but with the elasticity to not fall apart when I pull them out etc.

Here's a video of XPS after 15 years, kzbin.info/www/bejne/boildadmfNmXqtk. soaking wet, holding water, and much heavier

spreading misinformation... water doesn't remain in EPS. This video is created to sell more extruded polystyrene... the difference between EPS and XPS is the manufacturing process - but EPS has a SUSTAINABLE R-value -- XPS does NOT.

Water is a conductor of energy? Owens Corning needs to put more effort into teaching their managers that it is the heat that conducts not energy, and the two are not equivalent even though related.
@davidblahota5655 Жыл бұрын
well heat is a form of emergy, aside from that water can also conduct electricity
@V0L1SH10N Жыл бұрын
@@davidblahota5655 You just proved my point. Since water is a conductor of electricity, that result in energy transfer, saying "Water is a conductor of energy" is not only physically illiterate, but also ambiguous . What energy? Internal energy (heat) or electrical energy? People through around the terms: energy, heat, force, power, work as if it all means about the same thing while in fact these are all distinct physical concepts.
