Although some parts of the wiring are unclear, this is by far the BEST video on installation of fog lights.

Very good video. Probably one of the most comprehensive videos on YT. I have a query though. Do we need to ground the black wire of the harness or does it go directly into the negative terminal of the battery.

We can go for both ..even u can ground it or u can go for battery terminal

Hello sir... One question I have. To install the clamps, you need to work with the screws that are holding the forks. Is it okay to do so?
@motovin774 ай бұрын
Yes sir that is correct and it's completely safe, just ensure to tighten the bolts back as they were before
@ArnabMurshidabadi4 ай бұрын
@@motovin77 Thank you sir. 👍🏽 Actually I have ScoutX installed on the engine guard, but that location absorbs some amount of illumination. So I thought about installing it on the handlebar but was considering not to hamper any factory fittings. I decided the place to be just below the indicators using the Maddog Fork Clamp (Rs-1699), but I doubt it'll touch the tank when the handlebar is turned to the maximum. So I think I'll have to do what you've done.

Is it legal to put 40W Aux lights in this bike? I remember you went for Scout Aux for Highness as its illegal to intall Aux lights with higher wattage than the stock headlight.

Thanks, Very nicely narrated, can i use wire from horn to trigger relay? Anyways horn works only after ignition is on. Or Can I tap a wire from low beam light and use that to trigger relay, so Auxiliary lights work only when engine starts?

You installed Scout, and non pro switch and harness in your cb350. Any reason why you switched to pro switch and harness? Are the non pro ones not suitable during rain? Also for fast night riding (80+) is Scout enough in cb350?
@Chamba_nivasiАй бұрын
You seem to be an engineer. After installing a pair of HJG LED aux lamps of 40 Watt, 4000 lumens each, the battery drains within an hour so much so that once stopped, the bike won't start. Even jerk-start and kick-start won't work on my Xpulse2004v. How about connecting to alternator instead of the battery?
@motovin77Ай бұрын
I didn't have any issue after installing 20+20w maddog lights. Since the battery is part of the alternator circuit, it will pull current from the battery unless you figure out a setup to completely isolate the battery from the aux lights circuit.

Hi, I liked this video as you were quite thorough with installation steps. I own a hero Xpulse BS6 but am hesitant in installing aux lights. As per Hero service center that might void the bike's warrenty. Did you confirm this with Hero ?

Yes few drops of fuel will leak when you disconnect the fuel line to take off the tank. That should not be an issue.
