You got great riding skills 👌, I will give you that because you made riding in the hills easy on this bike which is a bit underpowered. But there is another problem with this bike or any Hero sport commuter or tourer. They always give short gear ratios in their bikes ,for eg this bike has the same front and rear sprockets size as the Xtreme 200r I.e 13×37 which gives it no low end and no top end either. That's why it is struggling in the hills so much in the 1st gear and its struggling even in the highway when you push it beyond 90 ; the vibes get even more noticeable . It needs 14×38 sprockets in the front and rear. How I know this ? Well the pulsar 200 dtsi had the same power and torque figures as your bike or the Xtreme 200r for instance. But it used 14×38 sprockets for getting a good mix of performance and mileage. Hell dude that bike could do topspeed around 127 or 128 kmph something which is perfect for what it's engine offered. Yamaha Bajaj TVS Suzuki Honda have mastered the art of giving perfect gear ratios in their bikes . That's why they can get great performance even from 5speed gearboxes or underpowered engines too . Best example is Yamaha FZ25 RTR 200 and nowadays even Hornet 2.0. They can easily cruise between 90 to 110kmph on Highways and have enough grunt to climb such winding ghats in Mountains .

@@TheGearedTales I would say change the sprockets size to 14×38 for better performance and mileage. And most importantly change the copper spark plugs to iridium spark plugs when you change it in the future. It burns the fuel efficiently bringing out great performance and mileage. Just Google the benefits of iridium spark plugs, you will know what I am talking about because I can't say everything in the comments section. Only thing is that they are better than stock ones which companies provide in their bikes. They have a life of around 2 lakhs km or something. They maybe a bit costly but it's a one time investment which will never trouble you afterwards in the future.

And for the sparkplug, definitely an iridium spark plug will anyday be better than the regular stock sparkplug. Let's see if I get something suitable, will surely use it in future. !! ❤️👍

@@TheGearedTales Yamaha fzs 150 v2 used to have 14teeth front sprocket and hero xpulse 200 offroad version has a 38tooth rear sprocket . No need for after market spare parts, just do some research about sprockets sizeused by different 150cc bikes if they use a 14teeth front sprocket. iridium spark plugs NGK ka best hai market mein abhi toh.

Installing LED Bulbs in stock would do the job equally well and would also cost less. You will just have to replace the stock bulbs with LED bulbs.. no need to cut and join wires... Where as installing 2 pairs of new LED indicators might be a bit costly.

Thanks so much dear brother. Soo glad that you liked it. Although it can climb this route with a pillion and luggage, but i think it might feel a bit underpowered, given the road is quite steep. Just make sure to engage the correct gear. In these kind of hilly terrains, i get an average of about 35 kmpl. Wish you a very safe ride, brother. Lots of happy miles ❤️💯🌟

The only drawback is its tall seat height and tube tyres. So, if you can manage the height of the bike, it will be the best option. I would suggest you to take a test ride. That would really be helpful. Other options that i would suggest under 2 lakhs would be Yamaha FZ25, TVS APACHE 200 4V, HONDA UNICORN/XBALDE.

And also be a bit careful about the seat height, because the bike is quite tall.. but once you get used to riding it, you will not face any problems. The bike can easily pull both of you

Given your budget is 4 lakhs, I feel Duke 390 is a good bike for you. Although I have never personally ridden it, but in that price, that's the most performance oriented bike. You get an amazing hardware, brakes and modern features. You can also consider dominar 400, TVS apache rr 310, or even the KTM 390 adventure is you have good height. Take a test ride of these bikes back to back on the same day if possible. You will have a clear idea 🤗❤️

And dominar is indeed heavy. But since I haven't ridden these bikes myself, it is really difficult for me to share my opinion. 😅😅 Royal Enfield interceptor has amazing low end torque. Brother, you can consider that too. 🤟💯

Hello brother.. thanks soo much for the words ❤️🙏 XPulse 200t is a very good bike overall : excellent in the city, quite good in bad roads, and manages to do around 85kmph easily on the highway. But recently, I am quite dissatisfied with the after sales of the bike. Hero Sevice is pathetic !! And as far as travelling with a pillion is concerned, the seat is absolutely not made for long rides.. the seat makes the rider and pillion feel very uncomfortable and fatigued , as the seat is small and firm. However, test ride the bike .. that can help you make the correct decision. For me as a solo rider, I find the bike quite impressive. But the only thing I will complaint about is the aftersales service of hero. I hope I could be of some help to you, brother. ❤️🙏
