The same Imdb has the newer star wars rated as 9. All you need to get high ratings nowadays is have a dedicated fanbase. Ratings don't matter these days

@@A_000 Of it's own genre? It's a masterpiece in it's own world, don't really know any animated shows that even compare. Animated movies, yes, there are few, but shows? No. There has to be something higher, for you to put it lower, if there was only 1 movie ever, it would be the best movie, it would be a 10/10, because people wouldn't have any comparison. Also popularity=/= good. It helps to establish the best medium rating, but as you can see with newer Star Wars movies, you said those were rated as 9, but in reality episode IX has 450k votes on imdb and is at 6.5/10. Which means bad shit gets bad ratings anyways.
