honest review of this game. 4/10, it really could've done better with the premise but there is just wayyyyy too much grabbing stuff and placing stuff somewhere in the house. and then until the very end of the game it gets scary then ends. it could've done better really

Design was cool. Ambient was well done but there were no mechanics. Unpacking was pointless. Should have some puzzles with them. No video on the VHS felt extremely cheap. Could have done more with the rooms/windows/door changing concept.

Watching X play games is becoming more and more frustrating. He just skips everything and doesn't want to experience the game. These games, especially horror games, are experiences you have to immerse yourself in and he is putting less and less effort in doing that as time passes. Skipping dialogue, taking 0.1 seconds to look at something before moving onto the next thing, etc. It's like his ADHD has gotten worse or something, always looking for the big payoff or maxwin and not actually taking his time.
