So no, he mostly dislikes games that only live because of nostalgia like Pokémon or old FF games. FF7R is objectively terrible. It does absolutely nothing right besides the combat. The combat is actually incredible though. Also rdr2 is like one of his favorite games and it’s an rpg

@@kyotow7388 1) FF7R isn't objectively terrible, it's literally a remake and it's supposed to be similar to the original game in many ways, while also bringing new stuff to the table like the new gameplay mechanics, the "kinda real time" action combat and the completely new graphics engine and character models, even the new story content. 2) RDR2 isn't an RPG (or, it's not supposed to be an RPG), it's an Open World Action Adventure game with few RPG elements (just like God of War). Even if it feels like you are Role-Playing as Arthur Morgan, Rockstar never claimed that RDR2 is an RPG.
