About the octopus take. They are certainly not dumb. I'm pretty sure Octopuses are one of the only animals that sometimes actually commit suicide due to boredom. iirc they can also feel negative emotions, unlike almost every other fish.

Yeah, octopuses would actually be in the same tier of intelligence as dolphins or elephants but due to the fact that they have short lifespans, they don't reach their full potential and don't get knowledge taught to the by the last generation. Humans, dolphins, and elephants all live long enough that their parents or other adults teach them to survive and more so. But octopuses don't get that same treatment so it's like every time there's a new octopus, it just gets a hard reset and has to learn the whole tech tree back from the beginning (and, amazingly, it's still pretty successful and intelligent).

@@fpsgod3028it’s also why they’re the most difficult animal to keep in captivity, if you can’t keep them entertained they will start trying to break out of their enclosures, and these guys are escape artists. Some smaller ones are capable of squeezing through gaps as thin as a quarter.
@snow_inc
@snow_inc Жыл бұрын
@@femto2099 yup, that's why it's a very bad idea to get an octopus as a pet. Confining them to a small tank means they will eventually escape the tank (they won't try, they WILL escape), and then end up dying due to suffocation. There was an Octopus in an aquarium that ended up pulling out the drain plug and waiting for the water to drain, literally so it could die. Very sad when you think about it.

12:50 it's not uncommon for different species to sometimes work or hunt together. Honey badgers and coyotes, ravens and foxes, certain species of birds and alligators, certain species of frogs and tarantulas, and orcas and whales or other dolphin species for some examples. I'm not sure if that was intended though lol. Sometimes dolphins (especially orcas) like to smack things out the water with their tails for no reason.

Whoever said that video was incel bait- true lol. In the real world, it's not a deal-breaker for a lot of women, despite what incels think. Money can be important, especially if the other person doesn't make any money and doesn't plan on making any or is in a lot of debt they're piling on. But I don't think people are usually that nit-picky about how much their partner makes. For a lot of people, it's enough if their partner makes enough for themselves and can live independently or if they're actually trying . "How much do you make" isn't really a question you ask on a date to determine their worth, but it is important to know their financial situation before you're legally bound together because their debt becomes your debt. Them making more or less is a pretty shallow way to look at it. A person could work at Walmart now, but something could happen in the future. I know a couple on KZbin that share a bank account for shared responsibilities like bills or taxes, but they both have their own accounts for personal stuff. That same couple, the wife (girlfriend at the time) worked at a bank and made more than him. He was starting KZbin at the time and she wanted to help support, so she worked while he built the channel so he had time to build it and she could financially support him. There was also one story where she asked if he wanted her to sign a prenup because she knew his parents had property somewhere. And it's not like this is a completely unique thing lol. The channel is justkiddingfilms (now they do justkiddingnews), the couples are Bart and Geo, but I don't expect people to know who they are if they weren't in that genre of videos back then. But they're funny lol.

14:06 I took a neurophys class before and learned gambling addiction can work a couple different ways in people. Pretty much what this guy said, something about the huge risk but huge reward is the only thing that gives their brain that fix. Some peoples decision when it comes to risk/reward activities are more skewed. 5% chance, 30% chance, or 80% chance is all the same to them. All they're concerned about is there's a chance they could win something big and it's exciting. For these people like he said they get that boost whether they win or lose. But for some people, their levels are so low that a "win" barely goes above the threshold. However, getting that win is what seems to be the only thing giving them that serotonin or dopamine boost. Yes, gambling can be as addictive as alcohol and drugs. TikTok can be addictive, but that's different. It's not like a TikTok addiction is going to lead you to a path where you start scamming your friends out of money to fuel your TikTok addiction.

Also, didn't XQC watch a gambling assessment TiKTok, nearly said yes to enough answers that put him in the "you're probably an addict" category and said it was good because he didn't say yes to all the questions lol? The one thing he and Hasan have in common is that they're not beating the autism allegations lmao. Fun fact, addiction or addictive behaviors is commonly present in people with ADHD. (At least 60% of things XQC says) Chat: autism Hasan: wtf, who makes eye contact when they talk to someone? I have to make myself do it (proceeds to unknowingly describe masking) Chat: autism

This dude pushing this weird narrative about woman only caring about men making more money, when men also lose their minds if their girl makes more then them. She never even said something unreasonable, she said she wants to date someone in the same bracket or higher. He only asked about the 55k just to get her to say no
