Just to give straight facts, neither XQC nor Necros Fan. 1. Twitch Rivals really did screw over Necros' team with their constant rule changes. The limit for teams was 2 "Grandmaster+" Players and 4 "Below Diamond" Players with Twitch Rivals stating that any player that has peaked Grandmasters is considered a "pro". Twitch Rivals then changed their rules and switched team limits to 4 "pros". They then reverted it back to 2 "pros" just a day before the Tourney. Many people are defending XQC saying they weren't "pros" but in this context,, XQC's team had 4 Grandmaster+ equivalent players. Even if you say, Apex and Marvel Rivals are nothing alike, for a gamer of that caliber, their game sense is still unmatched, and just by that virtue, they can maintain a certain skill level in any PVP-Shooter game as long as they play for a little bit. 2. Although people say that ping doesn't matter that much, but a difference of a hundred ping especially in a high-level match like this is extremely big. 3. I don't know why people are blaming XQC for the fact that he had an advantage, it wasn't his fault, he just followed the Twitch Rivals rules, and it wasn't his fault that Necros got screwed over by Twitch Rivals. And XQC is actually a really good player despite what other people will say about him. Furthermore, Zomb choosing to not play on a server with equal ping is not his fault, it's a Tourney, they will play for any advantage possible, and blame Twitch Rivals for not being more transparent and strict in their rules, not XQC and his team. Additionally, it wasn't just XQC's team that was unfair, Shroud's team was also extremely Stacked with good players. All in all, those are straight facts, and you can't deny the fact that XQC's team had a real advantage compared to Necros' team, but I also won't deny the fact that Necros's team was making extremely poor plays in this game as well and would've lost either way. But, I once again don't blame Necros for that, just a day before the Tourney, half of Necros' team was cut out, replaced, and with no time for practice or coordination, no wonder they lost. Edit: About Sykkuno being Grandmasters For more context, before Twitch changed the limit to 4 "pros". Valkyrae had already locked in her team with only 2 "pros". Rae's Team and Necros' Team then decided to do a scrims match before the Tourney. Obviously, with Necros' Team having 2 more "pros", they demolished Rae's team, even spawn-camping them. Rae and her team complained about the unfairness, and Twitch took notice of this. Through this, Twitch found out that Sykkuno had actually peaked Grandmasters despite that being public information beforehand on his socials. Twitch then decided to cut Sykkuno out of the team despite Twitch having originally given Necros' team Sykkuno. This obviously caused massive backlash since Sykkuno was really excited for the Tourney only to be cut, maybe fans blamed Twitch since they originally assigned Sykkuno to Necros' team, and all of this could have been avoided if they had just done a bit more research. Due to this, Twitch decided to change the rules once again and reduce the number of "pros" back to 2. And through discussion, although Necros' team had Sykkuno back, half of his best players were cut out of the team with pay. Furthermore, it wasn't just Necros' team that suffered, many creators, such as DokiBird, for example, had basically their entire team gone a day before a Tourney, this even led to DokiBird straight up dropping out of the Tourney. Although many creators suffered under this rule change, for some reason, Twitch really did almost nothing to XQC's Team and some others. Honestly, Twitch just wanted to get the early profits of doing a "Marvel Rivals Tournament" when it was just released. Because of this, Twitch basically rushed everything, with no spreadsheet outlining players or anything, Creators just said that their teammates weren't "pros" and Twitch believed them, then when faced with the consequences of their actions, they had to change the rules multiple times over screwing over everyone else.

Necros's team asked if they could go Virginia server since most of their teammates have around 150 ping on dallas compared to like 115-120 on Virginia, and Zombs denied because he didnt want to lower his ping by a miniscule amount. So this is pretty much 30ping vs 150 ping, and was just a ass move overall by zombs. Like in the name of fairness, there was no reason not too switch the server, and his reasoning behind it was just disgusting

The advantage of running melee DPS over ranged though is that in theory, the melee team's supports should be building their ults quicker. Ranged DPS are constantly poking, meaning the enemy supports are constantly healing. If the melee DPS can't poke, then the supports won't build ult as quick. In theory; a melee DPS team should have the advantage over a ranged DPS team in the first proper teamfight because they will have support ults and the ranged team won't. And support ults are busted.

Besides the ping, if you look at xqc's dps you see characters that can stay away from danger like punisher, hela, namor. And then you see how ineffective a lot of close range dps were like panther, magik, even Psylocke to a lesser extent.

Well Wolverine was buffed for Season1. Wolverwine was bad (for most players) n Season 0, he required tons of skill to use correctly so everyone though he sucked, he was sleeper good but it took a lot to make him good.
