It's easy to say that when watching it on a 25 minute video, but people get to a totally different headspace once they've been stuck in one place being alone for almost the entire time aside from a person for a few minutes or an hour at a time for over a month, not to mention in pitch black for a decent amount of it. When you're actually in a situation alone like that, especially when you have a family that you actually love it becomes a very big weight on you, especially 45 days in. On top of all that they never mentioned that he had any access to internet or electronics which makes this challenge a lot harder to a lot of people.
